- I bought the Leadstar 7 inch portable TV for my my next truck bed camping adventure. I am naively hopeful that I can get some reception while camping. Should be fun to watch some TV while camping. This TV is priced under $100. Don't expect Smart 4k HDR TV quality. This is a rather basic TV. After my camping trip I will decide if I should keep it? What do you think!

Pooping in a toilet in a tent is better than taking care of business at a dirty campground vault toilet. Just say'n from experience. The Camco toilet sells for under $90 as of March 25, 2021. The toilet does come in different capacities and configurations. FYI: It's a small toilet. If you are a large person, give it a test sit at home. No pooping of course. You can return it, if you hate it!

Buy your favorite toilet paper and wipes. No need for RV toilet paper. If things get sticky. Just wash out the toilet with detergent and water. A one or two minute vigorous shake should do the trick. Hopefully. #PoopTentToilet

back in 2010 i had a 7inch August tv no HD but it did get a siginal if i used a wide band antenna tho i did try the old antenna recently in 2024 and it worked well without a booster so i think if ur local bradcast mast is near it may work.
i used to watch cartoons on it after school and i would use the remote as i watch it from 7foot away hahah. very small tho tbh but also had no red button"interactive" so i emailed them and suggested it as it showed up via another remote and box years later they added a remote for the RedButton.
it was nice opening it too see how it worked
It will be interesting to see how the reception is when you are out camping in Arkansas.

I'm somewhat north of where you're headed - we call it the "WA-shi-ta" but I"m really liking the way a Californian-turned-Texan says it better. I"m wondering whether it's of French derivation like so much of Arkansian locales, where they butchered the native pronunciations and names and then English-speakers arrived and made no improvements.
Yes, people (like me) take liberties with pronunciation. It's very American. Wa-chi-ta! Probably several ways to pronounce the destination. Thanks.
Only as good as your antenna. That wire whip antenna isn't going to work outside a city with TV transmitters. Heck, when I had a TV I had a 13' long Winegard antenna with a rotor on top of my three story house and could only get 3 channels here on Mount Desert Island, ME.
I'll bring along another antenna. I have several. Should be fun seeing if any actually work. Thanks.
