As an individual who never once played a single King of Fighters/ Fatal Fury game, I think it's safe to say that I'm glad Sakurai chose Terry to be in Smash.

I know many people like to bash on the Maximum impact series but in all honestly it was a great series, In fact it was my first fighting game aaand my first experience with SNK , I liked it so much that i went and bought anythng that had Terry Bogard or SNK/KOF in it. Terry Bogard is a true GOAT of fighting game's.

It has only been in Terry’s moveset one time in the most recent King of Fighters XIV. They’ll likely do a Ryu; Power Geyser next to an opponent and Buster Wolf otherwise.
I can’t wait to see his move set in the new smash bros! His attacks in his original games are pretty good and he definitely has a lot source material to stay 100% true to the character!

So his Neutral B is Power Wave, his Side B is Burning Knuckle, his Up B is his Rising Tackle, his Down B is Crack Shot. As for his Ult Smash it is going to be his Star Dunk Volcano. His number 1st place animation will be him turning his back and tossing his hat off then give a thumbs up, and his second number 1st place will be him facing the camera tossing his hat off and giving a thumbs up.
i alway loved the animation effects of Power dunk in 95 looks so strong and Triple geyser for real bout fatal fury special so many memory's at the arcades after school lol
If they do SNK vs Capcom again, I think Terry should be voiced by Billy Kametz (Josuke from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable, Naofumi from The Rising of the Shield Hero, Ferdinand from Fire Emblem: Three Houses).
