ok so check out this video, GM Steering Wheel Airbag Replacement - It's Easy!. Looks like you need to release the right side first, then the left side. The left spring releases the left side and the bottom one. I know this is late but this was driving me crazy no one explains how to release the bottom one. This worked for my 2020 chevy traverse
The wire holding the third pin is the same wire holding the left side. Remove the Right side, then the left. The left will also move the bottom.
