Hey! I just want to say thank you! You dont know how much you have helped me. I paint furniture and I just started about a year ago. I dont like to just paint a coat of paint on it and that be that. I want it to be a piece of art. I buy cheap supplies and I've been determined to find out how to blend with these supplies (everyone blends with the expensive chalk paint on furniture) and I use craft paint! Lol. Your video explains how to blend and I'm proud to say I just achieved my first beautiful blend!!!!! With .50cent craft paint!!!! Yay! Really thank you. I've watched a ton of videos and only this one helped me. I'm so grateful!!!!😊💙
Aw that makes so happy to hear that! :) I’m glad this was helpful to you and that it’s helping meet your art goals ❤️❤️❤️❤️ keep on flexing that creative muscle!
Thank you for this channel! I just started painting and have felt over my head until I watched your videos. For the first time in a really long time, it doesn't feel frightening to try something new.
Aw I am so glad this is helpful to you! Just breathe and smile! That’s what painting is all about :)
came for a refresher for my next commision (i usually use ink), subscribed as soon as you said you're buzzed artist because honestly... same.
I watched so many blending videos and this one makes the most sense. You broke it down nicely. Thank you.
Very helpful. I have never used acryclic paints, only craft paint thus far, but you make it seem fun!
Will give it a shot
Excellent video!
This is super helpful I am starting to paint stones and sea shells and sell them but don’t know how to blend so thank you, what a great teacher?:)
So glad this was helpful to you!!! Keep on flexing that creative muscle!!!
very helpful, it helps if the canvas has a layer of medium applied first, ive found.
Simple, to the point, and understandable, this video was super helpful, thank you so much!!!!!
@@TheBuzzedArtist literally this is the only Video I enjoyed and understood, all the other videos were just too much talking and too much explaining. You're welcome!
Very nice tricks i like your style
Thank you and that was very helpful! I've just learnt how to paint and blending is one of my problems! Again thank you so much!
Yo this turned out sick
Thanks so much! What do you do if the colors don't mix well together and make mud?
Sharla1213 that is a great question! When that starts to happen, it means you need to take a break and let all the colors dry. Sometimes it’s best to just let the acrylic dry, and start over. Acrylic is awesome for doing this because you can build on a previous dry layer without fear of mixing. Also, this may happen too if you load too much paint at once on your brush; this gives you less control on mixing colors because you attempt to overcompensate with others colors...hence, mud colors lol. I always suggest evenly coating your brush with paint and a little water whenever making strokes. I hope that helps!
Amanda The Buzzed Artist
That totally helps thanks so much for the reply! I did my first abstract and want to touch it up it's nice to know I can even though it's dry.
Thank you..
thankyou so much.!!This tutorial is really helpful.🤗😊BEST ART TEACHER😅
:) :) :) and another :) i am using less paint and getting better results.
Very comprehensive
If you kept the paint brush wet instead of dry, you shouldn’t have to go back to the color before
Not trying to hate, maybe just a helpful hint
Hi Amanda any art tutorials.. You gone 🤫
Hi! I’m on a maternity leave of sorts taking care of my newborn son :) a little break from making videos for a while! ❤️ but hopefully I’ll be back soon with some fun video content
I knew how to do this a while ago was going to ask for you to do a video on it. I find that a fine layer of mist on the canvas helps a lot to extend the working time of the paint as well. I use a cheap dollar store spray bottle for this. The most helpful thing you said for me was to get the two colors into each other to fool the eye. That was an awesome tip.
Dan Bailey hey that is a great idea about the water misting! I’ll have to use that :)
