The government should legalise it so the tax they put on it will go towards fighting more serious drugs (cocaine, heroin etc) and/or more money to go towards the NHS or fighting homelessness.
With the tax of cannabis going towards these it would also free up more money to improve the country and/or facilities.
It's a no brainer but because of the few immature kids/teens that use it, and when they use it act like their favourite rappers, the old folks in charge have some skewerd stereotypical view of the drug and somehow deem it worse than alcohol...

It’s actually in Wiltshire, a county in England, UK. The offices were on a business park the MOD created on land at the Porton Down site when I bought shares 18 years ago, they may have moved now. As far as I am aware the greenhouses are still very near Porton Down on land rented from the MOD. I must check Google Maps to see if they are still there.

I have PTSD ADHD Anxiety and Depression, I've smoked 6 thin ones a day, anyone who knows what's prescribed as anti-depressants and such will know the HUGE amount of dangerous side-effects, weed NEVER gave anyone diabetes, anaemia , I LITERALLY saw ''self-mutilation'' on my friends medication, we need to legalise so I can responsibly choose which strand and strength I'm using, plus EVERY dealer in the U.K will be forced to have a license and go legit, only SOME people have psychosis from weed, but if we were regulating, people with psychosis and schizophrenia wouldn't be able to get there hands on the ''super skunk'' varieties, and there's like 2 thirds of London's gang culture over.

So, basically, if you have Muscular Dystrophy and/or chronic pain or need it to be able to eat while on chemo or have epilepsy as an adult or have depression or suffer severe side effects from anti-psychotic drugs, etc etc etc etc...then you are still fucked or at the very least are gonna have to jump through a myriad of hoops to get your quack to write a prescription if you don't have MS or childhood epilepsy?!? Don't get me wrong, please, I am delighted that those with MS and the kids will be able to get cannabis products without having to be criminals but it's still pretty upsetting for the rest of us. It is a step in the right direction but it's all ridiculous when it's so easy for your doctor to prescribe opioids, dihydrocodiene, tricyclical antidepressants, horse sedatives, etc for pain but not a naturally occurring plant...
