Today we are going to take a quick break from our usual classic car restoration updates to take a look at a really special Ford Mustang. The Shelby GT500 Super Snake is an upgrade package offered by Shelby America to take a "standard" GT500 to the next level in terms of performance, styling and exclusivity. Each vehicle is individually tailored to the preferences of the specific customer with many options and upgrades available. This specific car checked every available box and is representative of what would be considered their most extreme offering. 308 / 09 gt500kr had an upfit kit that you could get for it from Shelby, one that upgraded the rating to 605 hp and then a later update producing 660 horsepower. But, without major suspension modifications, it was only the 605 horsepower version of the KR and the Super Snake that were actually usable on the street. Oh, and don't forget the drag rads to go with it.
Totally worth it! Imagine having it in 2007! Untouchable!!

@@HorsepowerWarehouse Beautiful body style.I Am lucky too own a 07 427 edition convertible super and I also have a 900hp 10 Grabber Blue super snake.So I love the super snakes and I also think the 07 09 SS are at the lowest prices now but I definitely think there going to eventually go up.
@@HorsepowerWarehouse Also from what I have read and scene they were rated 725hp but they were closer to 800hp.Lol anyway you look at it there fast car's.

@@HorsepowerWarehouse Iam lucky to have 2 super snakes a 07 427 convertible super snake and a 10 900hp Grabber blue super.Everything about them is awsome.I recently saw a set of the super snake rims off a crashed super snake and they were bent scratched lol they were fixable and they sold for over 10grand.Not just because I have a couple super snakes in my opinion the 07 427 edition super snakes will be big bucks in the future.The 07 to 14 are the best years.The car's built after Carroll passed I can't see them be a big number as too what was built when he was alive.Nice car man.
The cobras on side of the car are incorrect. Or maybe the guy didn't want it added

Beautiful car I also own a low mile 14 GT500 SVT track pack car. But 28k on top of the GT500 price in 07.? No thanks. But then again I'm not rich LOL.
