Although the video wiring did not work properly for me (I was getting static noise), it did help to get a better understanding of what I was doing, Eventually I got it right. I made an adapter (TA4F to 3.5mm) for a Shure SM31FH Fitness Headset Microphone and I did not use power neither, the sound was loud and very clear, better sounding than any average lavaliers out there, maybe newer condensers are more efficient than back in the days? who knows.. Anyways I wired both left and right cables from the 3.5mm to #3 in the TA4F then I wired Ground to #2 in the TA4f and Jumped #2 to #1 pin in the TA4F. Hope this help someone in the future :D

At 6:54 the wiring starts, Red to pin 3. Green pin 2. White pin 1. All the condenser mics that don't have a battery will need power so it's a miracle that it works. Don't expect high sound quality.
At 9 min, they show an adapter that splits the cell phones 4 pin input into separate mic and headphone jacks.

The Shure MX185 microphone requires phantom power. How does it work for you without phantom power?

Hi, what are the connexion for ta4f to trs 3.5 male ?
I am trying to do my own cable for my balanced headphones. Since I don't have a balanced source I just want to plug into jack.
(My headphones are 4 pin male mini xlr, very uncommon, and I can't find any good quality affordable cable on the web :/ that's why I want to do my own)
Please tell me on what pin (1-4) to connect the T, R and S.
Thank you very much sir, I would be a great help for me :)

Hola. Me puedes ayudar. Necesito saber si puedo cambiar el conector de mi micrófono inalambrico de diadema. Quisiera conectarlo en la consola directamente. Es decir que tendría que reemplazar el conector mini XLR por un XLR. Gracias por tu atención.

Shure is fkin evil company does not give you any datasheets how to solder and the old datasheets on their weebsite are wrong xD. wiring on video is wrong. proper wiring is ground pin 1 red pin 2 blue/black pin 3 pin 4 is shorted to pin 3 so you dont need to solder anything there. i know because i stripped it and looked the wire colours and tested for ground. i made shure to akg adapter
