Best Show since the beginning of this channel and of the year so far. The lack of understanding of Bitcoin is so lacking that when people catch on to the capabilities of Bitcoin they are going to be so amazed. Just the fact that Bitcoin monetizes stranded energy is out this world.

16:25 - why does pretty much everyone ignore the cost of mining rigs and overhead costs? It blows my mind.
The cost of mining rigs easily rivals that of electricity. If you purchase an S21 for $4,000, and pay $0.04/KWH, it'll take about 3.3 years before you pay $4,000 in electricity fees. But, after those 3.3 years, it's very likely those S21's will be near the end of their lives.
Across the life of a mining rig, you're paying just as much for the hardware as you are for electricity to run them. It was even worse in the last bull run, where rigs were purchased for $6,000 or more.
The success of miners is more about timing hardware purchases than anything else, and that comes down to luck. In the long run, without a crystal ball, the mining business sucks.

Dear Mr. Thiel, Can you please come to my 119. acres on the Mendocino North Coast of Ca and build a mining company. I'm near a sub station, cool ocean breeze and extremely accommodating to make this happen. I also have 20 acre solar farm getting ready to be built wanting to partner up with a company like yours, and natural flowing springs for free energy. Thank you in advance.
Beautiful amazing area. Too bad Commiefornia regulations and taxes will slow and stifle profitable projects. I tried for 20+ yrs on the north coast of California, finally gave up, abandoned ship. Life and business immediately improved.
