Devotional Bhajan by very well-known Hindustani vocalist Pt. Shripad Hegde Kampli. Beautifully accompanied by Smt Nagaveni Hedge on harmonium and Shri Gurumurty Vaidya on Tabla. This is an excerpt from their performance in Yakshaanagan at 5th edition of Keremane Shambhu Hegde Rashtriya Natyostava, A National Performing Arts Festival.
ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಹಿಂದುಸ್ತಾನಿ ಗಾಯಕರಾದ ಪಂಡಿತ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಾದ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಂದ "ಕಂಡೆ ನಾ ಫಂಡರಿ ರಾಯನ"
ಎಂಬ ಈ ಸುಂದರ ಭಜನೆ. ಹಾರ್ಮೋನಿಯಂ ಸಾಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನಾಗವೇಣಿ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಕಂಪ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹಾಗೂ
ತಬಲಾ ಸಾಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಮೂರ್ತಿ ವೈದ್ಯ ಅವರು.
ಇದು ಯಕ್ಷಾಂಗಣ ಗುಣವಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ , 5 ನೇ ಕೆರೆಮನೆ ಶಂಭು ಹೆಗಡೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ನಾಟ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಸುಂದರ ಸಂಜೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮದ ಒಂದು ತುಣುಕು.

All these cultural events are organized by Idagunji Mahaganapati Yakshagana Mandali, Keremane(R) at “Yakshaangana” - a picturesque art space in Gunavante beside NH-66 - during winter (January- February) in Coastal Karnataka.
WHO WAS SHAMBHU HEGDE?
Late Shri Keremane Shambhu Hegde was a great Yakshagana artiste, thinker, and dramaturge of the Keremane Artist family, who gave a new dimension to the traditional art form Yakshagana using the elements of Indian choreography.
WHAT IS KEREMANE SHAMBHU HEGDE RASTRIYA NATYOSTAVA?
In the memory of national awardee Keremane Shambhu, the Mela has been celebrating a mega cultural event - “KEREMANE SHAMBHU HEGDE RASHTRIYA NATYOTSAVA” (Keremane Shambhu Hegde memorial National Performing arts Festival) so as to preserve, popularize, and create awareness of the panorama of Indian cultural heritage. On this occasion art forms from all over India, such as Yakshagana, Bharatnatyam, Chhau, Gotipua of Orissa, Carnatic, Hindustani Classical Music, Langa Mangniyar of Rajasthan, Kathak, Carnatic...etc. come together to the village. And there will be a saga of cultural programs and discussion sessions with the performers on our premises. The open-air and closed auditorium on the premises are utilized to host these events.
