- ( www.TFLcar.com ) The Jeep Wrangler JK2A Staff Car Concept is one old school Jeep that will most likely never be built....and that's a shame. Because this Jeep Wrangler as as close to a modern Jeep Willys as you'll ever get as Nathan recently found out the the annual Easter Jeep Safari on Moab, Utah.

I think a lot of people - also in Europe - will like this a lot!!!! - that is just THE theme for the 75th anniversary!!!!!
I like the tires. had similar ones on my 54 willys
Absolutely brilliant! If Jeep could make just 200 limited edition units they could have a new highly colectable jeep. I work at Harley Davidson and we have had success with limited edition models. They aren't as unique as this jeep, mostly bigger motors like the 2018 fat bob, but this could really be a modern collectable. Well done!!
this car is sweet they did a really great job on it
Love that staff car!!! I want one
simply loved it
beautiful!
That is way cool! Hope Jeep build one for sale!
Loved it!
I love it. 🇺🇸
Everyone complaining about them not selling these Jeeps, just buy an unlimited and build your own. That's the whole idea, showing you what you can do with a little bit of imagination.
Agree, my '05 TJ Rocky Mtn is by far the best vehicle I've had. A lot of hard work and creativity has this rig looking bad ass!

More of a mashup between the original Jeep, and the Dodge Staff car. Google "WC56" and you'll see some similarities. The staff cars are basicallyJeeps on steroids. Would love to have a WWII WC56 though, with something modern under the hood so it can keep up with modern traffic. Would be fun! They should have painted it Olive Drab and hooked up a modern radio (military or ham or ??) to that "stupid antenna" and raked the back end of the canvas top and of course a few .30 mounts and they would have had a real winner. It does appear that the windshield folds flat. I saw a gap under the bottom of the screen. It looks like it folds just like the WWII era Jeeps and WC's. I wonder where this thing is now? I would take it off their hands...
That thing is so frikking cool.
Looks way better then the stock rubicon
Best concept
"we set out destroying it" Wrong... They made it much better, I wish they sold these.
Never was or will be a fan of the 4 door limos, but this is the only one I've seen that's respectable. Needs a 4.0 I6 though and the invasion star points don't go beyond the inner circle. Typical Mark Allen.

I want one!
it's beautiful......
Camo is a mix of colour and shapes. That is a desert brown/solid colour.
I want this jeep
2:55 i want one of those helmets
I need these wheels and tyres for my wrangler 2021 🥺🙏🏽
too cool
i wonder how much that fender black out light weighs...and if i could put it on my gladiators fender without worrying about it. would fit my vintage military them perfectly
Should be something like this for the anniversary
why doesnt jeep sell the J8 in usa?
I read in a magazine that they are trying to get the hellcat engine to work in the grand cherokee but because of its driveline setup it can't handle the power.
Can't seem to find J 8 bumpers at Mopar. Would help give a JK/JKU a J 8 look.
Swap a 4.0 into it and you'll be set
Welcome back
Another one off. Yay.
4:10 You have implied in several of your videos that the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk is limited in its offload ability. However you have also numerous times talked about how great the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk is. I am just curious why you feel the renegade isn't as good as the Cherokee? In the Trailhawk, the ground clearance is identical, and its approach and departure angles are actually slightly better. What gives? I am just curious. Is the 4 wheel drive system in the renegade different or something?
***** The Renegade Trailhawk is limited by its power, minimal articulation and overall grip - when compared to the Cherokee Trailhawk. It's just that simple. Still, the Renegade Trailhawk is the most capable off-road-capable vehicle in its class, by far. It truly is a great ride.
nathan adlen Good point about articulation. I had assumed that the Renegade and the Cherokee, both being crossovers based on car platforms (although they are different platforms), would have similar articulation.
And yet no mention of the exhaust note....
Good I like jeep
Next a Trail Hawk Wrangler, with hellcat motor?
What wheels/tires?
If they really wanted to make it retro, they should have started with a 2 door
mxpx148 Didn't the higher brass get extended wheelbases?
You could be right...I didn't know the old school Willys came in extended wheelbase...I've only seen the small ones.
mxpx148 I can't be sure either. I'll have to check into it. I think that I may have seen some but I never know if I may have picked it up in a movie that was shot after the Unlimited came out and a director had some fun with his audience. I will check into it though.
mxpx148 Checked some more and found no Jeeps that looked like the original in a 4 door. There were some with machine guns installed on the hoods and some with machine guns installed where the back seat would have been and then there was a Jeep M38 truck produced from 1945-1965 that did come in a 4 door but it was a very different looking Post WWII vehicle. There were even some 6 wheeled variants.
mxpx148 I think the other thing is which the new height of the JKs, to give it a similar aspect/dimension/scale of the original you'd need to make it longer, so a 4 door would be a better choice than a current 2dr, although the best choice likely would've been an older Unlimited 2dr, but it's been 7 years since they've been available (unless the used a 'pre-owned' body or some similarly less attractive option.
I want that helmet
Retro look tires but wouldn't a modern off-road tire be better for traction.
be better if it was a TJ
Pretty sure they took that color from Rommel's Afrika Korps Kübelwagens. It matches perfectly. But of course they can't say that, hence a bullshit story about a cardboard box xD
Considering monitor variances could just as easily (and truthfully actually) be *coyote brown* dumb ass.
Anyone that knows what vehicles the U.S. Military use would not think that is legit.
I meant xj
My uncle drives a Jeep Wrangler and my dad drives for jeep Cherokee xn
too bad they dont build them
second
why do you keep showing cool jeeps that we will never get to buy? that sucks
+Dan Chase ......rat rod,,,,,,,,,,build anything you want ......much more fun.
Sound man please get off this mans feet.
OMG most of these guy’s comments are so deeply disrespectful to the Heritage and service of the origins of the jeep and the soldiers who loved them so. So you totally missed the mark in your lack of respect.
Jeep, why would you ever pay these bums?
Agree, Mark Allen is not a traditionalist Jeep man that's for sure!
"honestly, the only reason that we built it was to ride around town in it." followed by laughter. Honestly, I would fire this man and everyone else in that department who are wasting shareholders money. There is no idea as to how much money that this ass-clown has wasted on this and other supposed jeep concept cars. He said himself that "there was no good reason to do this." I know that I have, in the past, criticized the practice of "concept cars" made by the jeep design studio. I can see doing things like this to get the public's reaction to jeeps that the company is really considering putting into production. But as Nathan said in this video: "No, it will not likely be at your local dealership, most likely ever." Jeep is now a publicly owned company. The money that is WASTED on building stupid stuff like this is money that belongs to the shareholders of FCA group. This is just my opinion, but I do feel this very strongly. Thank you.
Any company that needs to work a deal with an Italian firm to stay afloat, has a management problem. I agree 100% with your opinion. This, and the "Africa" concept vehicle would make the company billions; but they're brains are mush. These vehicles are for folks with over-inflated egos and a strange sense of consumer markets. That's why people all over the world still buy Land Rover and Toyota when they need to go into the bush.
You name a single company that didn't get a hand/hand-out during 2008. You might think you know which ones, but you'd likely be wrong like so many others. Toyota got support from their government and the US government.
Mentioning Land Rover in the post if comical when they have been shopped around more times than Chrysler/AMC in a much shorter time period, and no longer make true off-roaders with the demise of the Defender.
The Easter Safari is still seen as one of the most popular and beneficial customer relations and experimental platform demos out there. The level of free advertising alone makes up for the minimal amount of time & money that is spent to make these concept vehicles.
What's your point? This and the "Africa", and countless other "concept cars" continue to do NOTHING for the company, or the consumer. Free advertising? Seriously? Go test drive a Prius
F THE
LOL at the dig at a gov't paint job and that they "removed every nut and bolt and painted it..." Ya. My HardRock doesn't even HAVE paint under the hinges. Jeeps are great, but the paint jobs are among the worst from factory. Shame for what you pay.
Neat, but not practical. Jeep AFRICA please. Doesn't Jeep realize that practical is in demand?
