everyone keeps talking about ranveer and deepika's great chemistry but i feel their chemistry isn't that strong. they look hot together but that's not enough for them to make a good movie. they only have good physical chemistry with each other but not an intense chemistry that shah rukh and salman shared with aishwarya in devdas and hum dil de chuke sanam respectively

Yep. I didn't find them hot or sizzling. In fact, I feel like they don't really go together. Deepika has a hard time with chemistry, I don't know who she looks good with. Ranveer looks good with most of the girls he has worked with, except her. Deepika also for some reason looks older than alot of the boys haha. But yeah, you're right, I think this pairing is overrated.
It's your perspective. Otherwise I love them on and off the camera. And they're amazing husband wife now.

for some reason i feel there was a certain class with which sanjay leela bhansali directed his previous films like khamoshi, hum dil de chuke sanam, devdas, black and guzaarish. but i feel ram leela was a bit rigid and classless with bold dialogues, double-meaning jokes, too much violence and blood and gore. i would definitely not want bhansali to direct any other movie like ram leela in the future and i feel that he should get back to his previous filmmaking mode with bajirao mastani.
Oh my gos, I know! Sometimes when I see the films he makes now, I can't believ it's the same guy that made Khamoshi. I think Devdas was the last great thing he made. After that, I think jumped on the popularity bandwagon and now only makes abrasive films. Saawariya was really bad, Ram leela was just ugggg how can people take this seriously.
Ramleela is not about vulgarity. Its more about passion and love, that is what he focuses on his movies.
Jahangir Hussain I think that is your opinion but as for me Ramleela was one of the best classic movie in Bollywood...Yes Devdas and HDDCS was superb but you can't belittle the fact that RL brought so many new flavour and the romance between two people from opposing families.
The rough dialogues would definitely be my favourite why because that's what makes it so unique and raw ...
