@@NeurodivergentSuperiority seen both product, the US and the Russian from a really close up position, and can say, I would rather fly any old Sukhoj, Tupoljev, or MiG left alone in an old airfield for forty yrs than any overly advanced and beautyful looking F 35 or any Mirage jets. Seen MiG 21 abandoned in knee high snow on an airfield and could start up in twenty minutes, which is faster than the order going trough in the US chain of command to the actual action. BTW, if they are so bad and falling apart in a dogfight against any generations of modern jets, than please tell me why a young US female Astronauts asked a Russian pilot flying those junk up to the stratosphere? Fourth, fifth, or even sixth generation Western made jets couldn’t make the task?

About thirty years ago my father and I were driving past Nellis AFB before the cinderblock wall was built. Now I saw this more than once. There was a MiG-29 on the north ramp painted in what looked like chromate green.
