    My uncle Luke when he was still with us in the late 70's would buy calves at Harris Ranch. I myself have been on this ranch many times and I can tell you first hand Harris meats feed the cows ground cardboard mixed with their own waste, I've seen it with my own eyes many times. I will not purchase Harris meats and after watching this I can still smell the stench.

      _____________I know Carl Smith....He has a small steak house a mile down the road from Harris Ranch. I land my airplane at Harris every time I fly by....you get a discount if you have a pilots license (apparently you eat free if your a cop too). Best tasting prime rib I've ever had...ever. Truth is...Harris does have a feed yard just for specific cattle that is only served at their restaurant/resort. Carl's just being a douche bag. Doesn't cost him anything to throw Harris Ranch under the bus on CZcams. But out & out lying is just cowardly. I hate to think there are people like that, who just make up stuff and post it for you'all to read. Even a cow won't eat cardboard mixed their own crap... although I know of a cow who ate a big'ol piece of plastic with butter all over it.....had to pull it out of'm. Now...Go back to run'in your own restaurant Carl before I start lying about you.

    • @2A372C
      @2A372C Před 3 lety

      @Jay Sebring The average citizen doesn't have much contact with the police.
      In a 2015 survey only 10.8% of the population was in contact with the police that was initiated by the police. 10.7% of the population has contacted the police in a situation where they initiated contact. White people are a few percent more likely to have contact with the police than other races. Police were more likely to initiate contact with males, females were more likely to initiate contact with police than males. When police initiated the contact, blacks (5.2%) and Hispanics (5.1%) were more likely to experience the threat or use of physical force than whites (2.4%), and males (4.4%) were more likely to experience the threat or use of physical force than females (1.8%).
      That having been said old school police were a whole different type when compared to these younger officers. The older crowd understood that their livelihood was directly linked to the citizens they were in contact with. Without the citizens and the revenue those citizens generate there simply isn't any money to pay law enforcement. That's an important thing to remember when you pull over a father in a 20 year old vehicle just doing his best to put his kids through school because he paid most likely paid for a portion of everything the officer pulling him over uses on a day to day.
      In my case I've had so much trouble with corruption that I bought dash cams and I have a lawyer on standby, I've literally shown an officer the statute showing that I was operating within the law and was written up anyway. Once you've established that you were not breaking the law writing a citation is breaking the law, their hope is that you'll simply have to pay the fine and that you won't be able to fight for what's right. When I was young I simply paid the fine so I didn't miss work but then I started to think about the example I was setting for my kids and the precedent that was being set.

    2. You make a big deal about the cop shaking hands with the Harris guy. The Harris guy stuck out his hand. Did you? How does a cop being polite enough to shake hands mean they have "pull in Fresno county"?
    3. "The officer told us we were on private property." Um, this is an out-and-out lie. He told you that you were on State property. He flat-out told you that the complaint about you being on private property "may or may not be true".
    How do you expect people to take animal rights activists seriously if they mischaracterize and lie like this?

      I didn't have to scroll too far down to see someone post the exact things I was seeing and hearing from the officer. To add to it, he said it was a waterway which in addition to other locations like high-voltage power lines or transformer substations, public utilities, etc., most locales do in fact grant no permission to the public to be in these zones. It's also correct that the FAA doesn't say these drones are in violation as some are pointing out, but personal drones are such a new thing that legislation hasn't had the time to move through yet; laws are coming and pilot licenses are the beginning. To add to that, there are numerous court cases popping up where owners of said private property have either shot down or had a drone crash on their property and the decisions are so far unanimously granting legal right-of way to the land owner of whatever invades their air space. The catch in the legal field is that air-space is attached to the land property but in some silly cases, the two can have separate owners but there's an owner one way or another.
      Time to move on to seeing someone fight for their cause without bending non-fiction to their will.

      It's good to be helpful and polite, & that applies to the police too. They should never use the question of ID as a power-play, but only in the performance of their duties.
      You should take a look at some of those classic war time dramas. The bad guys are always in uniform & demand to see your papers.

      One this this video doesn't state (many other SHARK videos have) is that SHARK is not opposed to the police per se. There are bad people out there, and accidents, and other issues for which a police force is the best answer. Unfortunately, the behavior depicted on this video makes life harder not only for citizens, but also good cops. We feel for them, and hope that a way is found to push the bad ones out like an obnoxious sliver in society.

      "Cops should have thrown you mangy asses in jail for trespassing."
      That would have been good, as the SHARK team could then have sued the pants off the cops for wrongful arrest.

      Perhaps it may take you getting your kindergarten education to understand counting, but the amount of cops that showed up was ridiculous. Follow that up with a more ridiculous encounter the next day? Need to change your line of thinking.

      Perhaps that pea brain of your's needs to learn what loosing it means. Was that many cops needed? No, not at all, but people like you love to exaggerate things out of proportions.
