I am sooooo happy you are back! I watched every video scince, Thank you Pyro!
The best lore speculation on the internet. ❤
Your video about the primus was fucking awesome btw.
But i just had to keep reminding myself there is no way blizzard is that gigabrain... but i fucking hope they are 😅
Doesn't Elune watch over many planets? Remember the gay deer guy from another planet who died from the power of Elune? She is worshiped on many planets, even in Shadowlands. She's not a one-stop shopper.
Yep, that throws a wrench in some of this, although I would contest that Mu'sha ("Elune"), the celestial object known as our moon, would only be a conduit for the Goddess Elune (Universe entity) to channel her powers through, then it might make a little sense again.
@@TigonIII Could be
Unless you are objecting for a reason other than what I'm thinking, I don't think there is an issue.
Azeroth's sun and moons only need to play a representative role for the cosmic entities they represent, like Elune. I would go even further and say that they only need to represent the cosmic entities to the local culture of Azeroth. In other words, just because Azeroth's people can point up to the sky and associate something to Elune doesn't mean that Elune is _actually_ "limited" to that particular thing, even if she adopts the symbol as a means of communion with her followers.
I don't think that the races of Azeroth viewing their local celestial bodies as representatives for beings such as Elune puts any cosmic limitations of Elune as a being at all, unless you believe that Elune is _literally_ the White Lady, the moon of Azeroth, rather than being a representative of her to the local culture.
The blue child is Sargares, he was sent off in to the cosmos to learn and he met the titans. During his time with them he learned of there betrayal and his mother being in danger and has been fighting his way back ever since using any means necessary.
For a while I was under the impression that if the winter queen was the blue child, an'she could have been zoval.. Due to that giant hole in his chest. But now I believe An'she and Elune could be direct children of Azeroth who might be one of those called (THe first ones).
It's awesome to see that your love for wow has (hopefully) returned your lore speculation videos were always the best
Omg I just found out you came back to WoW and while I totally understand why you left- I flippin' missed your videos so much! Best Warcraft theory vids I've ever found! I'm so excited to be seeing your theories play out in the game! Love your nerdy passion- keep 'em comin'! 💜
@pyromancer I don't know if you have mentioned this in your videos yet, but the vendor item in Ardenweald called "Memory of Eonar" seems to further connect Eonar to the Winter Queen and could be related to the Blue Child per your discussion in this video.
I think I’ve come to the conclusion that Eonar is the Earthmother in Tauren mythology, but “she” is believed to be Azeroth herself by the Tauren. In other words, Eonar is trying to literally and figuratively supplant Azeroth: by replacing her, in reality, as a cosmic force AND subverting her domain in the eyes of mortals.
damn he getting back into the game he said he would never return ?
@@Burningwoodz Well, the game’s original writer returned with a lot of creative control. And Blizzard seems to be listening to fans, for now, imo.
She would be the Avatar for Azeroth, in the same sense Jesus was the embodiment of God Eonar is the Embodiment of Azeroth
@@Hulkaholic87 In a sense, maybe, but not naturally. Definitely by some scheme, or by force.
One thing to remember is that this is Tauren MYTH, and it may well be embellished, though I would guess there of course would be some underlying truth behind some if not most of it.
The Earth Mother could be both Eonar and Azeroth, as MYTH could have melded "truths" from many things into the story, again we need to remember from which perspective the story is told, here I would presume it would have been orally passed down throughout Tauren history.
And to the point about ignore something because someone lied, I totally agree with you, as you'd want to analyse the text to understand why they chose to lie or tell it like they did, for what purpose. Like Odyn says in the Uldaman book, we only need to know what they want us to know.
Having Saturn like rings around Azeroth could explain why you don’t see the other side of the planet. What if the “rings” are actually a disc that divides what the Titans could order from what they had to hide away. Then that disc creates a dome building the false sky. This is why every time we dig deep we find crazy shit because we are getting close to the other side of that barrier. Why every ship who tries to go past a certain place finds doom. Azeroth as we see it is like half an Easter egg sitting on a table covered in a bowl. Half a planet literally imprisoned.
Love the series as well as the hypothesis you present! Talking about about sun and moon and their names in the Tauren tale, have you ever thought about the fact, that in aberrus, the 10.1 raid, sarakareth literally opens a void gate and he drops a trinket that references An’shuu the cosmic wanderer? Would be really interesting to hear your perspective on this.
the celestial chart shows domination runes across the whole left side of the chart which they created such as wild gods, notice how there is also domination runes around the ribbon near the burning legion. matches exactly what you was saying about sargeras being dominated
Soooo.. our sun if definitely going to go completely become Voided out like the Naru and like that crystal in the WarWithin trailer.
According to a theory I heard from shiannas, anshe=elune, musha= zoval, and the blue child = winter queen
We need a patch about taurens in the future. There's been way too much stuff about elves, trolls, undead, orcs, draenei and whatnot, but very little about tauren, only discovering different breeds of cows on the Azeroth.
keep up , i love your videos of theories
THE MOONS CHAMPION!!! THE MOOOOOONS!!!! Good video as always by the way 😁👍
23:33 you mentioned it sounding like order and domination and that got me thinking about the relationship between order and domination... because order can mean to give an "authoritative command".. and if you dominate someone you have authority over them and give them commands.... so im pretty sure domination magic is from the plane of order..
I don't think it can be Eonar, because I think this story occurs before the establishment of the black empire. The titans came after that, of course. The shadows coming in was the old gods, she contained the shadows within herself- which is where we find the old gods later, deep within Azeroth.
And a fun side note - Remember how interested Zovaal was in Anduin for his Light magic? And how he had a giant gaping wound in his chest? It really feels like Blizzard planned for An'she to be Zovaal.
Hey @Pyromancer. You might want to revisit the Huln Highmountain storyline from Legion. Huln was gifted the power of Elune by Cenarius? He became essentially the first Tauren version of a Night Warrior. The moon was the key to his power IMO.
Huln shows up in Ardenweald and helps to find former Night Warriors doesn't he? Is he said to be a Night Warrior himself?
Someone in chat said that the chart implies that Shadowlands and the Dream are opposite....
The way I see it, the chart shows that SL and the Dream are connected THROUGH Azeroth.
Pyro also in cinematic Eyonar says : i remember unity, until it was scattered by betrayal. And the there is scene of Azeroth. Maybe in past Eyonar was opposed by Azeroth
Pyro is very passionate. I love it!
Just a big shame that he's basically decided to upload stream clips instead of putting in actual effort like he used to do. Incredibly lazy.
@@flyingpiglet True in a way, but that type of time he put into his old stuff has to have been very exhausting for sure.
@@inquisitortrevelyan2606
At the end of the day most people will just take the easiest path.
Probably why Pyro has stopped putting effort into creating actual appealing content and just re-uploads stream clips; makes him more money for less effort.
I don't blame him, but I guess I'm just disappointed.
Guess I'll just keep watching Bellular. Simply not interested in listening to 30+ minute incoherent ramblings of Pyro.
Elune is what Y'Shaarj's spirit became when Aman'Thul ripped them from the Well of Eternity, triggering a type of "death" you've seen before that results in a change in cosmic alignment. The White Lady is the corpse of Y'Shaarj and represents both Elune and Y'Shaarj, with its light and dark sides...
Elune is the light-aligned Y'shaarj. They are two sides of the same being. We know the Naaru are associated to Elune and that the Naaru undergo an alignment-shift from Light to Void in a "death" like state, is it really so crazy to say the same thing can happen in the opposite direction for a being that we know is associated?
Why is Elune so heavily associated with twilight, eclipses, and the intermingling of light and shadow? Why are we just told that Y'Shaarj is dead, with no body, with no other examples of old gods dying, just this one, despite being told they don't really "die"...
The Night Elves believe Elune used to sleep in the Well of Eternity. Aman'thul ripped Y'Shaarj from the Well of Eternity. How many coincidences do I have to ignore here lol?
Completely riffing here but maybe the Titans originally stole their powers from Azeroth and subsequently imprisoned her? They then keep watch to make sure she doesn't escape.
Blue Child is Azshara. Sargeras technically taught her things, and she already has the Elune connection on account of being a high elf.
Azeroth is the earth mother.
Eonar is an imposter, and usurped her power while she slept (with the help of the titans) - with her children (sun/moon) powerless to stop them.
Why do the Black Dragon flight - the EARTH ASPECTS - not like the Life-Aspects? Cause they're overstepping their bounds.
Coincidentally similar to Sargeras and Eonar.
Weird how now that's she's waking up again... the titans feel an urgent need to return suddenly.
The "hug" refers to an eclipse. When the moon/sun cross in the sky - it would make sense that a superstitious peoples who anthropomorphize celestial bodies would describe it as a hug.
I think your Winter-Queen / blue-child theory is great.
She refers to Elune, on multiple occasions as her sister.
She's the WINTER queen (death-queen) overseeing the most life-rich aspect of the shadowlands - sounds like a blend of disciplines learned from her older siblings to me.
Interesting how other twins... wielding weapons with two different colours (blue/yellow-gold) is literally your previous video.
Weirdly thematic repetition, no? :D
Notice on the celestial map - the (6) opposing elements?
Air/Water - Musha
Fire/Earth - An'She
Spirit/Decay - Lo'Sho (Winter Queen/Blue child)
Yesterday's bombshell with the Jailer being there primus and now this. Loredrool 😂
love this nerd shit, great to have you back man
"Prize" might be something that Sargeras treasures, something important to him. not necessarily something he won.
Yall catch that "created dual blades for An'she"??? So literally shalamayne
Tyrande used a moon well to gain the blessing of the night warrior.
Does the winter queen even explicitly state that elune is the sister? Could be that the sister is eonar and elune is mother.
i know this is out during legion. when i did not play(the eonar cutscene). could the betrayal actually have something to do with amanthul(i believe) ripping out the first world tree? There was unity, and she definitely felt betrayed by him for that. who knows what the prize would have been. but this just comes to mind
Cool idea
I think the Earth Mother is instead Azeroth adding to her being the Creator
SO if the sun is the sunwell and the moon is the nightwell (or whichever well you said I can't remember) and the earth mother plunged them into her eyes as she slept - is the earth mother not Azeroth as the wells could literally be eyes??
sun and moon, light and void? the sacrifice of the lives blood in the sky?
Can't wait to see Pyromancers reacrion when Eonar isnt the bad guy
there literally is a ceiling that you hit when you fly straight up in wow
Eonar is Sargeras's prize
Isn't the Earth Mother the Tauren's reference to the planet itself (Azeroth), not the Titan Eonar? So it sounds like the Sun& Moon(s) are Offspring of Azeroth, no?
3 moons 3 rings of the prison, what if the moons orbit is the prison
I dunno, i dont see the paralells pyro is talkin about.
I think when we fight the titans it will only be some of them I think there will be a split and we align with certain ones
well in real life the moon is a space station created by aliens so maybe it could be something like that in warcraft too
didn’t you in the new video say azeroth created the sun and moons? so what is it?
What if yashraaj was the original world tree and when Aman thul ripped it out they wanted to keep the dream so they imprisoned it inside elune, to hold its darkness at bay with elunes light, but keep the dream alive
Have you noticed that Thunderbluff looks like the middle of titan map?
I don't know whether you read chats but would you be able to explain where different classes get their magic powers from?
For example I was thinking about a mage and shaman and what the difference was between a mages frost magic and a shamans frost/water magic. Is a mages water elemental the same as where a shaman would pull one from? and what is Arcane magic? Frost, Fire and Arcane are the 3 specs for a mage yet 1 spec is not like the others. Frost and Fire are elements but Arcane is not?
They are not the same, Shamans pleads elements to provide them with the pure elemental magics directly from the elemental planes(like Firelands, Waterlands(w/e is the name) etc. Mages actually use arcane magic only and through it they transform pure arcane magic into fire/frost.
@@astralways8180how does that explain them summoning water elementals or Jaina being able to almost flood Orgrimmar with tsunami?
Why the Anshe and Musha weapons are the same as Tyrande and Sylvanas in the 9.1 cinematics? :)
i am totally on board with Elune being Musha and winter queen being losho, so who would be the personification of Anshe
What if I told you that I love these videos
Would you take the blue pill and stay in fantasy land, or take the red pill and get your mind blown by Metzen. 😆
And the wound of the dream is the rift of aln? throwing random thoughts!
What if Ardenweald is the Dream version of the Blue Child.
I can't take it anymore. my mind is blowing... too curious and confused and fascinated... I have a rather typical question. if you're saying that the planet with ring in Elunaria is in fact Azeroth, how is it that we don't see the rings from Argus? is it a conceptual thing that can not be seen by physical mortal eyes?
Would being bound to an Oath, be a form of Domination???
I´d say elune is a prison , all titans do is prisons
the MOOOOONS champion!
the earthmother is azeroth. the twins are elune and an'she.
Could the twins and Earthmother be a combo of maybe Azeroth, Argus and Sargeras?
Life is meant to be creation... the real avatar of life is Azeroth whose power is over creation(life) and Eonar the lifebinder bound azeroth(creation/life) and usurped azeroths role as creator[the other titans original oath may have been to protect Azeroth, until Eonar bound and usurped her, consequently enslaving the titans by their oaths.
I mean, it’s interesting, but you need to read the Legend of Elune'Ahir, the first World Tree. If we assume that the Legend is true, then it makes this theory impossible. Look down if you want to learn more.
If the Legend of Elune'Ahir is true, then Eonar and Elune were lovers (Life-*Binder*, huh?), not mother and child. I think the Earth Mother is Azeroth herself, maybe the Elemental Lord of Spirit/Titan of the Elements? Heck, Azeroth might even be a First One! Oh, and it’s also said that the Titans don’t know that Life (Elune) and Death (the Winter Queen) are sisters, which they would know if they had Ordered the Shadowlands.
Furthermore, if anything, it seems like Bliz is making it out so that Aman'Thul is the Big Bad of the Titans, whereas Eonar is more likely to be our ally. Don’t get me wrong, I understand and accept that the Titans have lied to us, and are most likely going to be our enemies (at least most of them) in the coming saga, but I don’t think that the Titans have succeeded in Ordering/taking over the entirety of the Warcraft cosmos.
Glad to see you're back Pyro I just hope you don't go nuclear on WoW again and scream abt it that was awful
Eonar is Elune.
Hmmm I don’t know about the winter Queen being the blue child part. But blue wrapped in life and light? Isn’t the light always yellow? Blue and yellow= blood of Azeroth , life=creation. So what if Eonar yoinked or stole some part of the power of Azeroth and gave it to them
As an Alli main of all races Ill take taurn folk lore over all the races, they to me seem the most peaceful of all races imo¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I gotta wonder if the "The vassal of life disguises treachery. Beware the eyes of green." quote from Il'gynoth, is actually referring to Eonar?
The moon isn't a location. It's an object
But what are we going to do about the dark god she trapped in it?
lol same pyro as always
was Eonar the prize? union of titans. would bring a very powerful being into existance.
What if the dream world is actually the reality and the reality we know is the real dream that's why they constantly manipulated
So Earth Mother you think is Eonar, not Azeroth? Interesting.
So if Elune and Winter Queen are sisters, Elune being Mu'sha makes Winter Queen Lo'sho the Blue Child for sure.
But who the heck is An'she their brother and where is he located?
Well, Elune and Winter Queen are 100% sisters, there IS evidence even in game.
Remember the Legion expansion?
Elune reached down from the Moon and lifted up Ysera's spirit... Where did Ysera end up being?
Shadowlands in the Ardenweald and we learned that Elune was sending souls to the Winter Queen to help with the Anima drought in Ardenweald and the rest of Shadowlands.
But I personally think the Earth Mother is Azeroth, not Eonar... But might be Eonar as Well.
Would explain why in the in-game book, Elune is referred to as Eonar's true love...
Instead of implying a lez bian relationship, it might be referring to a mother's love for her daughter.
Related to your Galakrond and silver stuff video, combining with this here.. isn't the OBVIOUS trait of "darkening" here Elune's ability to make "Night Warriors" or whatever Tyrande became?
Then again, that could be just another "side" of her. A *side effect* if you will ;) Cringe aside, Azeroth also seems to have this deal of "the other side of Azeroth".. Sounds to me like Blizzard is finally willing to show both sides of the coins.. may they be gold, silver, copper, iron.. who knows? Or am I misreading something here entirely?
Here goes Pyro again thinking the Titans are actually God's.
They're just lower tier demigods, nothing but robots. I think the actual gods are the First Ones and their opponents were the Devourers. The first ones ended up winning the war and did what they do which is creation, where the opposite the Devourers devour.
Someone doesn't pay attention to the game
he rage quit and left wow when the devs flat out said "they are not gods" because they arent.
@@Boss-ot1iy
@@Boss-ot1iy Did you read the Odyn report book in Uldaman? Because there Odyn makes a very big distinction between the First ones and the Titans. The Titans are not the First ones.
OMG We are not on Azeroth at alll!!!!!!!!!
tarot smells kinda weird
but also, saying this doesn't just mean that I was there for the few last minutes of the twitch chat and not that I watched the video?
Pyro has never watched Naruto
Did you retire from FFXIV?
pyro whats your thoughts on the new lore book from 10.2 talking about a world tree named Elun'ahir and how the story almost mirrors that of what happen to y'shaarj being ripped from the planet and pieces of the old god were left behind due to how deep he had went similar to the roots of Elun'ahir
Bro. Pyro. LOOK AT UNDEATH!!!!! THERE'S A TITAN PRISON AROUND IT, more evidence of your theory that the titans "ordered" the SL
Edit: I mean the "celestial body" underneath Necromantic
all this about elune, the moon, the dark moon fair and y'shaarj. ''What if'' after Aman'thul took the old god (or tree) out of Azeroth, eonar reused part of it to create the moon (elune) and that's why this ''thing'' has the ability to converge towards light and shadow (also dream/nightmare). I think everything would become clear when those "rings" restricting Azeroth are finally broken, so we can see what the space around the planet really looks like. The true forms of the "moon" and the "sun" and many other "celestial" bodies out there. 🤔 Thanks for another 🤯 video Pyro👍
So wait, are the titans the first ones then? If they ordered the shadowlands and if eonar made winterqueen and elune?
They are. There's a massive power difference between the titans and the eternal ones. What eternal one is planet sized? None. That's the only example needed
Eonar really just sounds egotistical in thinking she was Sargeras prize
Eonaer was refering to Azeroth as being the prize.
@jankxyard Yeh that is one interpretation, another more likely one is keeping Sargy from having his Dark Pantheon
why do you even hate eonar again?
I’m still way early in the vid but I would HATE Eonar being the EM because it’s just making Tauren mythology BadWrong just like the whole “Jailer was An’she” shit that was presumably alluded to and, if so, rightly avoided
On a related note have you seen the fanmade An’she lately
If people would put so much research into real life, and what is happening around them we would live in better times without war and suffer.
this makes 0 sense
he is just retelling the lore thats already in the game. who the fuck wants to watch a 34 min video of him reading the wiki?
me :)
Me. I'm watching it right now for the 2nd time.
Cringe bro
