It's true that when we are afraid of people, even if we have knowledge about certain thing, we are afraid to speak up where we should speak up. Just like sir Nouman says that qaulan sadeed is about speaking upright and taking a stand for yourself, we realize how much Allah loves us that He wants us to be confident, He wants us to be clear so that no body has the audacity to humiliate us whenever they feel like doing so. We should have such a personality that inspires others rather than just getting influenced by the people around us, however wrong they may be. May Allah help us to stand for the truth and grant us the ability to have a qaulun sadeed ameen.
People pleasing is not serving or honouring humanity or people. It took me so long to understand that. Speak upright but respect fully. May Allah guide us all. Ameen

Really really interesting khutbah.. I am always amazed by Allah and his revelation.. we found everything we need in it to have a great life... I have always been interesting by self development but the Coran is much more than that.. Allah knows us better than we do, we will never know us as He knows about us.. This week I was wondering how I can be myself.. I know now, by straight talk.. you know what? Until now I thought that I was talking straight and if sometimes I was adapting my speech I thought it was good for not hurting anyone.. I was so wrong, hope Allah forgive me and everybody.. brink, I was actually referring to the recent events with that scholar from Texas, Zia ul haq. Sadly, as Nick Pelletier spoke to, he was allowed to get away due to a corrupt administration that did nothing to report it to the police. But I guess this problem is too prevalent now, horrifically!!!! It is extremely saddening that the house of Allah is not safe from such sexual misconduct!!!
