  • Projects often have Vertical and Horizontal Wall Reveals (or both). This Revit Tip video will show best practice for making the profile, creating the reveal and then adding them to your walls. They are easily aligned with windows and openings.
    Don't be skeert to use them on your next project.

      Thanks. I figure that if you explain things well, people can learn better. Have a great day!!!

      ‘Paint’ command will apply material to the surfaces of a reveal.

      @@miketaylor8211 I'm trying to "paint" a wall with different colors using "split face"; there are multiple reveals through the selection that keep me from getting the full area I want split. Is there a way around this or will it be better to make a stacked wall?

    • @miketaylor8211
      @miketaylor8211  Před rokem +1

      You are correct Allie.. The reveals are causing you troubles. You would have to ‘split’ each face individually. Yikes.
      A stack wall may be the way to go… it would certainly be faster.

    Help please, how do you extract the quantities?

    • @miketaylor8211
      @miketaylor8211  Před rokem

      What do you mean? A schedule can show you what is in your model and how many.
      Add ‘count’ as a parameter in the schedule.. and it will count the items and tell you how many you have!

      @@miketaylor8211 Yes, I understand that, however with the reveals it is not possible to obtain the quantities, do you know how to obtain them? Thanks for your answer
