- Quick funtion review of autoradio SWM 160C
Installed in Fiat Punto MK2 2003
Music could not be turned on via Bluetooth and Andorid Auto, becasue mobile phone was connected into radio and it will stop video recording.
Cabel for Android Auto is connected to rear USB port.
Rear camera will be installed soon.
My conclusion : very good, nice display with good response, smooth interface. Approved and recommended.

The bluetooth connection is pretty persuasive...
I don't want to receive calls on the BT kit, but somehow it keeps connecting. Even deleting the connection on my phone or switchi9ng off BT, NOTHING works!!! This drains my battery pretty fast. I have to unplug(!) the radio, delete the BT link om my phone, and only then it's gone. However, next time I connect wired: BAM! Full BT connection again.
Anyone know a workaround for this?
I want to use wireed connetion only, or at leas have a choice.

Na Aliku píšou, že má radio výstup 4x60W, je ten výstup hodně nekvalitní, nebo alespoň trochu ujde? Děkuji.
Zdravim, predtým bolo v aute pomerne slušne Sony rádio s výkonom 4x50W a keď to mám porovnať, tak rozdiel veľmi necítiť, plus rádio má celkom dobrý ekvalizer, takže sa s tým dá pohrať avšak Punto samé o sebe nemá veľmi kvalitný audiosystém a taktiež tlmenie je na slabej úrovni :D takže veľa záleží od auta, ale podľa mňa je to solídne. Takže aspoň trošku ujde :)

Hi, not tested yet, but there is possible turn on voice control, and OK google should be work and for second question - you right - model 160 doesn't support Android Auto / Apple Car.

Giving feedback on the device after 2 weeks of use, the device is very good for the cost benefit, it met my expectations, Android auto works well. I RECOMMEND the product.
Is there a similar radio where you don't have to plug in the phone to get android auto?
Or a device that has navigation integrated?
Too bad you can't play radio when the phone is connected.
I don't know if is on market available similar radio with requested function. So you can connected phone ( charging available ), turn off android auto and listen music. But I understand your point, it's bad that you cannot use map navigation and listen radio at the same time.

@@westsenkovec a just tried only CZcams music, but this should be possible, as you can see in video, I have VLC player installed and you can play local music through VLC, but not tested yet.

yes, you can but in video it wasnt possible, because i recorded video with my phone and had not another phone for showing this function.

Hi Martin, no, it's not possible. After switch into Android auto, fm radio turn off and you can listen music from Spotify or CZcams music.

hello, I have a problem with this post I have a problem when I start driving it cuts out and tries to pass on the rear camera (I'm not plugged in) Do you know where it comes from?
Problem could be in cable, it would be better scenario, please perform double check and worse is possibility some electric error inside radio and if radio is in warranty, I recommend not open radio and try it solve with seller.

@@naidjor3608 no, i was using this radio without camera almost 2 months and didnt have problem like you. Perform double check of cables in back of radio and if everything is connect right and properly... if yes, problem will be inside of radio and I am not able to help then.

Hello there, it's nice to see a proper review of this stereo. Just one question, when you are playing music through Bluetooth, does the stereo show the id3 info (song name, artist and album and maybe album art)? Great video quality btw.

Hola! Me he comprado un Fiat Punto que ya venía con el estéreo instalado.
Quería saber COMO SE APAGA el estéreo ??
Lo que me sucede es que cuando aprieto el botón de arriba a la izquierda, que es el mismo que el encendido durante unos segundos, la pantalla se apaga. Pero mi coche aparece sin batería al día siguiente, por lo que he notado que sigue consumiendo batería y que por lo tanto no está realmente apagado, sino que queda como en un segundo plano. Mismo al tocar cualquier botón no aparece la pantalla de inicio, sino que aparece directamente donde lo deje.
Agradezco cualquier consejo o ayuda para saber cómo apagarlo.

El estereo está conectado directamente a la corriente y no al switch, por eso aún cuando apagas el auto, sigue consumiendo batería
Tienes que mantener pulsado un par de segundos el botón de arriba a la izquierda
@@SergioBellentani gracias Sergio. Eso ya lo habia intentado pero al apagarse sigue consumiendo energia. Ya he encontrado la solucion desconectando el cable del estereo a la llave de encendido del coche (estaban juntos)

Ahoj, všetko bolo súčasťou, nič nebolo potrebné dokúpiť. Aj keď prišiel update, všetko fungovalo ako má. Aktuálne vyzerá Android auto už lepšie ako na videu.

Unfortunately, boot logo cannot be changed.

Sorry, camera is already installed. all cables are hidden... next time I will make video with whole installation process including camera setup.

@@hansdailyvlog5889 radio has 3 USB ports. One in rear area of radio and left in front are usable for Android auto / apple car. Port on right side is only for charging.
bro, would you have filmed the installation process :(
installation process was almost identically to install as with every 1din autoradio. One special thing is rear camera, and for this you have very nice guide included to package and it isnt really hard. Worse part was taking cables around through car and bring energy for camera from rear back lamp. Next time I will take gopro on my head and record whole process :)

Use an FM radio APP instead CZcams or Spotify. Tunein its good.

Zatiaľ absolútne bez problémov, možno na jeden ruke napočítam že sa pri načítaní andorid auto niečo seklo, za pár sekúnd sa celé reštartovalo a potom fungovalo. Asi jediná drobná chyba, inak nemám výhrady :)

Při pohledu do mého clia jsem bohužel zjistil, že displej by s největší pravděpodobností překážel u tlačítek varovných světel, zamykání a vnitřní cirkulace vzduchu... ty poslední 2 bych klidně oželil, ale o varovky úplně přijít nechci :D což mě štve, hrozně se mi líbí a za nějakých 45€ co jsem ho našel mě fakt láká

With USB cable from rear USB port. Cabel is hidden behind radio.

You can see what appears when radio start. There is no possibility add logo of car during start.
