It took me like 10 hours to get a stupid Mom's Heart kill, 40 hours to do the whole thing and get Godhead. This scumbag here does like 40% of the progress in the first run, I can't fucking believe it.
Also, it wouldn't surprise me at all if this was the fastest unseeded The Lost chest run recorded. 25 minutes is absurd.

I think I'm with NL on not going to boss rush on this one. Sure his damage was very high but without a defensive item it wasn't worth the risk.
I was watching Kate's stream when he did this run. XD He was so excited he came in the room to tell her and then continued to dance near. It was so funny.

Titus he just picked up a speed upgrade and then was barely able to run away from the poop, im pretty sure if he was slower he would have gotten killed.
TheBigBuilding I don't think you saw it properly. It wasn't the SPEED that let him live, it was MOM'S KNIFE. The knife insta-killed the poop, so it wouldn't matter what speed he was at. If he didn't have the knife he likely would have died then.

MrAndersonLP he was able to oneshot gurdy and two shot blue baby I don’t think it takes too much to not get hit in most rooms with that build

I am 100% certain Edmund gave a special version of the game to NL, with different debug settings. I've watched most of these episodes and at this point, it's no longer luck. The game seems to intentionally be showing off itself for viewers instead of wasting time with tons of crappy runs.

he did it in 1 episode. tear of grace needed 20. mostly because he always got that room which is full of those laser eyes and always got the haunt as a boss, but still

I was so scared watching you, it was like a fucking horror movie. If I were even given the chance to play as the Lost, I'd probably run for the fucking hills.

Tyler Reda It does rely a bit on luck, but it's mostly skill. To not take a SINGLE BIT OF DAMAGE. THAT'S SOME SERIOUS SKILL.
***** It's still pretty damn impressive that his first recorded run of the lost got him all the way to the chest.
NL, for all the shit you get on a daily basis, you now have bragging rights for life. Enjoy it.
As for future runs, just some tips, put out fires in rooms you know you'll go through again and extinguish red/purple fires immediately. I've walked into fire so much it's not even funny. Also the champions that explode are dark green but the colors stack so they might be brownish or black as well. And the ones that shoot like Tammy's Head on death are light blue, but again colors stack.
I forgot, do NOT, and I repeat do NOT, pick up any of the following items: Lazarus' Rags, Ankh, Broken Ankh trinket, or Judas' Shadow. These change what character you're playing as, so if you die you come back as not The Lost. Avoid at all costs.
dotzo Picking them up is actually not that terrible, as they are activated after 9 Lives or 1-up, aren't they?
So if you don't pick them up, it just means that your run is over immediately.
Some might still want to continue playing as another character if they haven't unlocked everything with him yet (or still need some hard mode "post-it note entries").

Mugsi Probably. But especially in this case, if you haven't gotten all achievements for the other characters, you'll gladly respawn as ??? for example and giving it a try rather than dying.
In fact, that's how ended up beating The Lamb in hard mode with ??? thanks to The Ankh when I died in the Depths.

He only unlocked The Body, Isaac's Heart, and O.
To unlock The Mind and The Soul he must defeat The Lamb and Satan.
There's also the D100 for beating the boss rush, and God Head for filling out his post-it note on hard mode.
***** He totally could have gotten boss rush with that setup. I'm surprised he high tailed it out of there.
***** Better safe than sorry was my thinking. I'd rather tackle Boss Rush on it's own run so there's less risk of throwing a bunch of progress away.

My heart was dyeing just watching this, my back is tense and i cant help but feel like i just freaking beat Jesus in poker... and i have to do this MYSELF.
I've been watching through Breaking Bad on Netflix and I can easily say that this video was the most tense I've ever been watching anything.

Most enjoyable run I have seen, was at the edge of my seat for most of it. Good stuff
I unlocked GodHead by glitch victories in both runs. It seems like if you get a few balls of steel pills it'll trick the game into thinking you have spirit hearts even though you cant see them. Both runs I got hit about four times each without dying, and the only similarity between them was the balls of steel pills. Never got Holy Mantle, only got 9 lives on one of them. Might be patched now though, I did it before the update.

I ... Did it almost half of year and I beat ??? On the lost .... My heart is trembling. I would like to thank the academy of isaac to this victory I would also like to thank dead cat, holy mantle , sacrifice dagger , bobs brain , money is power , the 99 coins ,high speed, and epic fetus for giving me awesome victory but this is not the end of my journey my friends for I still must beat the boss rush , satan , and the lamb with the lost . And probably my ADHD med's probably help keep the intense focus I needed to with it's like a stop watch on life.

Items like judas' shadow are terrible for the lost because if you beat a boss like it lives, it won't count as you beating it as the lost
They are not BAD why do people think they are???? If you die with the item, you would've LOST the run had you not taken it jeez. It's either a loss or completing the run with no unlocks, you lose nothing.
