It's WAYYYY too late. For that foolishness, and for everything else as well.
I've seen so many documentaries regarding the end of time according to the Toltecs, but not so many movies like this one. It was not just inspirational, but it shows the many ways God can manifest despite our lack of faith.
Yeah, Ive seen loads of docs too, sadly very few of them get it right, they still perpetuated the old misunderstanding of the calendar. Which most movies just make even worse. Sadly this movie is just a rehash of the same old lies. And then with an overdose of Christian myths on top.
For the record of any1 reading: Im referring to the fact, that the Mayan calendar has no end, it consists of repeating cycles of varying length with the longest being app. 5,000 years, which was, what ended in 2012. But it was never a doomsday prophecy, it was just the ending of 1 cycle and the beginning of another cycle. The falsehood about the end of the world was based on really bad translations made by the original "archaeologists" and them interpreting it based on their Christian faith and claiming an end of the world/apocalypse prediction, when it is no such thing. Ive always found it equal parts hilarious and sad, that ppl still insist on ignoring facts and using a misinterpretation of another culture and religion for the Christian rapture.
Just like our calendar didnt end with the millenium, we just started a new millenium. The cycles continue. And we've actually known this for many decades, but the many doomsday cults, awful "documentaries" based on false info and the eternal Hollywood butchering of history and facts have perpetuated the lie.

If u love way overdone Christian propaganda, then this is a movie for u. Even tho as usual the lie about the Mayan calendar ending and meaning the end of the world is used for the umpteenth time (the Mayan calendar never ends, its in cycles, when 1 cycle ends, a new cycle begins), it could still have been a decent movie, but instead its been combined with a flood of Christian myths, endless praying and talk of God, that its nauseating. On top of that theres wooden actor performances, awful CGI, the whole works.
I only made it to the end, coz I couldnt believe, a movie could be this bad, but it is. And its not even hilariously bad, its just plain bad.
That is very well put. Now we know why so many Hollywood types rely on drugs ands booze.
