I recommend going to Ross or home goods or tj max for pots - I got some stunning pots there for under $10!

Thank you very much for the plant therapy. I looove the pots especially the ceramic ones. You can drill holes on them , just use a masonry bit. It’s so refreshing to see you go around from store to store. I live in a rural area and the big box stores are 2-3 hours away. Thanks again.

Cactus always makes me smile when I see them- their spikes tell every living thing “keep the hell away from me”. Lol. They’re like the loners of the plant world. Scientists are speculating that plants have something like a “brain” in their root systems, and can scream in silence when they’re being eaten.

I get creative with pots. Depending on the plant I may plant them in old glass jars, I've got one in an ice bucket, I have another in a little pale, sometimes I keep them in their nursery pots and I just set them inside baskets...
Love your pot haul and the cactus pot is the cutest. I prefer white or cream pots as well.
Wow that tripped me out that they have all those stores in Indian Land... that's where my hubby is from and I moved out there for a year and a half in 2010-2011...and there was just pretty much food lion and Harris teeter there! And then they got a new Walmart...then we moved to Oklahoma.

You can always spray paint your terracotta pots. I use a super large amaxon box and do it in my apartment. Cheap and pretty.

For the pots without holes - it’s really easy to drill a hole in the bottom of pots. It does take a different kind of drill bit, but is super easy to do. I’ve done quite a few.

TJ maxx, home goods, Marshall’s are great for pots. The ones I’ve been to don’t have huge selections but the ones they have are usually pretty nice and inexpensive
I just recently stumbled upon your videos and omg that's my Target and Michael's. I have to find some nice ceramic pots, but all the pots at Home Goods, Tjmaxx, and Ross adds up quick!! And it's cool that you're a local plant-tuber. I've thought about making videos one day with all my clearance plant finds. Keep up the good work!! What and my Pineville home depot has the begonia I've been debating about getting😱 I'm on my way there tomorrow!!

A drill and ceramic bit will fix the "no hole" issue. Also, Hobby Lobby has their pots on half price every other week.

Wow! At 40%, I would drill a hole and be thrilled. Those shapes of the while/beige pots were cool. Target was a little pricey. TJMax; not bad prices or selection. Hmmm. My Walmart hasn't any indoor plants yet, but they are starting to put out those amazing pots. And I do want to add that begonia to my plant family! Have been on the lookout for it. Will look into mine tomorrow. Thanks for giving us a heads up.🙂

Our Home Depot and Lowe’s here in East Texas have STILL not gotten their new plants in! I sure hope they get ZZ Ravens, too. Walmart also has nothin’ yet.

Ikea, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx or Marshall's are great places for pots. No drain hole, no problem; use as cache pot.

Thanks Ashley for another great video. You motivated me to go our Home Depot in northern NH and I just got a really full Philodendron scandens Brasil which has been on my list for a long time. I'll be on the lookout for that Begonia maculata Wightii. By the way, we are all learning how to pronounce the names of some of these plants, so no big deal.

Burlington has good pots, I got a 5 gallon pot that’s geometrical shaped as a upright concrete box pot for only like $10.

Thanks for that awe-inspiring shopping trip and, look, your 2nd round didn't include inclement weather! 😳 Where I live in Southern CA we seem to be devoid of any cool pots, etc. at Home Depot, T.J. Maxx/Home Goods like we use to. I sure did see lots of great options where you went shopping, though! Your Home Depot sure had a lot of very nice plants, as well! Ikea has great planters but the plants are hit and miss at the one near us__gotta catch them on the right day. Hubby and I find some great deals on plants at a particular flea market, from a particular vendor, too! We've acquired a few interesting and unusual additions from them__VERY affordable, as well! Gotta get hubby to take me to WalMart, Dollar General, Big Lots, 99 Cent Store, etc. this weekend__some of our plant babies are in need of repotting! Gotta see if we have Family Dollar here__I spotted an awesome pot in your video, it was a white 'head', which I would totally put a plant that represents hair, in that pot__those are few and far between! 😸🌱🌿🙌🙌🙌😺

Yippee...I got some at the dollar tree too, the terra cotta 2/$1.00 for some small cacti...YOU did a good job finding so many at a lot of different places! You go Girlfriend...!!! LOL!

My absolutely favorite place for planters is at the "At Home" store. If you like plants, it's like a kid in a candy store and excellent prices. The only downside is their selection is so huge that I can get stuck there just unable to decide between planters. There are also many online retailers that have excellent options, however I prefer to see the pots in person whenever possible. I also feel that a certain retailer which I'm sure you can think of, will put everyone else out of business if we do all our shopping there so I try to shop local when I can. As for plant shopping, I have purchased so many inexpensive beautiful plants at Trader Joe's. They sell out very quickly so it's best to get there in the morning and sometimes they have nothing, sometimes gorgeous things, so you never know there what to expect.
Ashley, after watching a few of your plant hauls I was planning to come down yesterday to check a few nurseries but with the thunderstorms and tornadoes warning there's no way I'm stepping out of my door. I even wondered if you're crazy enough to be out plant shopping🤔....and OMG you sure did!😂😊😍

Oddly I have gotten some nice ones at rite aid. I couldn’t find a nice one big enough for my umbrella tree that didn’t break the bank and then stumbled on a one there for $15.

I just left Home Depot and this location outside of Nashville, TN was just starting to get more plants but nowhere this much 😳 I’m gonna try to be patient lol. I’ve had outside of the stores you went to I love checking out amazon and Big Lots too for pots.

It's SO EASY to drill holes in any of those pots. HD & Lowe's has a drill bit set made for tile and glass/ceramic you just spray water on the area while drilling I haven't broken any and have done at least 100 of them. I'm sure there's a CZcams video on that.

Your begonia is so beautiful and healthy. I got mine in my local online shop and it was not in good condition and suffered a lot during the shipment. After a day it started drooping and lost a lot of leaves. I cut it and put it in water before I totally lose her.

I'm still looking for a Raven ZZ. The Home Depots here got them but they sell out so fast. I really want to give one to my aunt. I'll just keep trying. Generally I try to buy pots at thrift stores and yard sales. But occasionally I just have to have some pot and I will shell out the bucks for it. I always think there are worse vices!
Kyra D It took me a while to find them, but joining a plant group on facebook helps! Some people will point out where they find them at. Unfortunately, there is a local nursery that is buying up all the stock for resale, making them even harder to find. I hope you get lucky with it soon!! 💗

I love Hobby Lobby for my pots and I use my coupon for the more desirable pots.
The solid green spider plant was the original but the striped one won out in the end so I’m happy to see it again.
Don’t forget, both Michael’s and hobby lobby always have coupons on their website and there is always one for 40% off a single (reg price) item...but sometimes it’s more off than that!

i bought a big one in a 10inch pot from wegmans for $15!! definitely suggest checking if you have a wegmans in your area.
I found one three days ago at my local grocery store (Safeway) for only $26. And it’s really big.
Just add stones to the bottom so the dirt doesnt stay wet
