Always better safe than sorry. I would rather make several cuts than make that 1 big screw up which I have done in years past. But it only took me 1 time to learn that lesson the hard way.
Hey😁may i ask… did you stamp the leather on the saddle? Or before you put the leather on? How does the leather pattern look like? Is it a straight leather peace or slightly rounded? 😁thank you so much!
I stamp it on the table… the pattern is almost like a crescent moon shape… I’ll wet it just enough to stretch it around the tooo, lay out some lines for where I want the pattern to stop, then tap it out on the tooling table! I hope that makes sense!
