      Hard disagree on "quite not F1 standard". There are some drivers which drive worse far worse than Mick yet they still got seat because F1 is all about money, luck and politics which why F1 sucks.

    • @DM-it2ch
      @DM-it2ch Před 5 měsíci

      @@runninginthe90s75 there have been some dreadful drivers- but they don't last long. Look at Nick Devries- great in F2, couldn't deliver in F1, and lasted half a season. Mick is similar- still a brilliant driver, but his talents are best used elsewhere.

  • @MickPsyphon
    @MickPsyphon Před 5 měsíci +2

    Dude! Mick's signing with Alpine won't prevent him from racing in F1 again. In fact, it will likely result in the opposite: future opportunities in F1!
    Why hasn't anyone else in F1 signed him, since he departed from Haas? Timing! Steiner deliberately screwed Mick, by waiting until everyone else had signed their drivers; and nothing of consequence has opened up yet.
    Once he has shown what he can do for Alpine, other teams will open their eyes and minds again. Unfortunately, too many idiots were against him, simply because of his last name.

    f***ng PR... by his name, it was induced that he should win every race. 2021 season with a haas 2020 sh!t box car and a 2022 in a new aero philosofy was enough for media to put him on level of unfit for a sit in f1... people tends to forget max, lando, george's debut seasons. but comparing with his generation, mick is much better than zhu, tsunoda, seargent, drugovich and also better than some experienced guys in f1 - stroll, bottas, hulk, kmag (although in 2022 season kmag got more points, mick has lots of area to improve, kmag is at his maximum).
    i am not his fan, but i think a season with new guys (f2 champions) would be much more fun than with all those old recycled guys (even alonso and hamilton) or all those pay-drivers

      Some people forget grammar. Capitalization. Proper use of the keyboard. And so on, and so forth. Mick demonstrated not only a lack of talent, but also a great liability in the age of the budget cap.

      @@FrancisFjordCupola well, sorry, english is not first language. not even second. regarding mick's talent, he won F3, F2, beating in equal car all those mentioned (zhu, tsunoda, seargent, drugovich).
      speaking of liability, look at max 2015 season. he crashed more times in an ok car. but you know, smart people have patience.
      speaking "in the age of budget cap", haas had always been the ones who want to invest nothing. their budget was in average 130M before the cost cap, when they kept grosjean + kmag 3-4 years doing stupid crashes, but didnt complain so much of budgeting the damages back then. they developed the car for 2022 on mazepin's money, then fired him because he is "russian" - kind of stole mazepin's money? :)
      ps. karma... haas got hulk, paid him more, and manage to go on p10 at the end of 2023. GJ!
      throwing fancy words on internet, with not a single argument on your side wont make you smarter. go on wiki to analyse the statistics, review some races / seasons would

    Mick was never impressive as an F1 driver. Of course he would do better in a better car, but the issue is that most other drivers would still do better than him. If you have a good car, you don't downgrade it by putting Mick in it. His talents are best put to use elsewhere.
