As a Karmin stan this song hiiits so close to home! I remeber being a young teenager and not understand why the album was being so delayed and why she had to dye her hair blonde. Growing up I understood it had to do with the label and such!

Legit I remember searching up Karmin on iTunes to check for new music and Qveen Herby popped up. So I hopped on Twitter to see what was up and saw “Karmin is dead long live the Qveen” and my jaw dropped. I was Heartbroken (🤪) thinking Karmin was never gonna release new music. Well I was right but we gained Qveen in the process ❤️❤️ so happy to see her doing what she loves bc she loves it and not bc a label is telling her to
and then the next album being a flop (even though Leo Rising is amazing ahh) hits so HARD Amy has been through so much but she glows so much brighter now it's beautiful
