Thats a good point! they should sell the purses on their own (with a default strap maybe) and then allow you to purchase as many straps as you want if youve purchased a purse that requires a strap!

They are smart! They give you a âfreeâ less desired strap so can spend more money on another leather strap! I agree that they should make it a choice and charge less if you want a guitar đž strap! The speedy 20 is perfect for the club or night life type! I think it looks nice with all black, heavy metals, low boots, or tennis.

I agree love . I'm not a fan of the strap. I had the chance to pre order this bag and passed bc of that. Now I'm trying to get it bc I love the hardware and red interior! & Yes! Omg I've never seen it with the old speedy strap!! It absolutely looks so much better than the guitar strap. Well I wish that the guitar strap it came with was at least adjustable . I love how the short shoulder strap look on you. The speedy 25 strap is perfect!! Yea good point with straps being sold separately and pick and choose which strap we like. Great video!!

They probably made the 20 come with a guitar strap because they NEEDED something different. Most who are going to buy the 20 probably already have another speedy.... and it's probably the bandoulier version. If they made the 20 come with a vachetta strap... people probably would talk themselves out of getting a 20 because it would be too similar to the 25 or 30 that they already have. The bag would be somewhat irrelevant. Therefore they NEED it to be different.
The 25 strap matches so much better. The portion is so off with the guitar strap.

The light leather is the strap that originally come with that bag, you made a good choice. I do interact different straps with my Louis Vuittonâs and of course they are Louis Vuitton straps. But I feel when you do when Iâm boxing you should share the correct strap with the correct bag, you did a great job sweetie congratulations on your bag
The vachetta strapâs only problem is it is clearly made for a bigger bag and is too wide.l for the speedy 20. But I get why you like it more than the guitar strap.

Oh my, now I'm thinking đ€ this will be the next bag I'm getting( when I can get my hands on itđȘ). I have the vachetta strap from my monogram B25 so it's gonna be perfect! I just discovered that the new nano is smaller than the old nano so it will basically useless for me. Glad you got it againđ.

Iâve been contemplating this bag. The one thing holding me back is the strap. The strap itself is beautiful but I feel the scale of the guitar strap is just too heavy for the small bag. The weird length of the strap doesnât help it any either. Thank you for sharing.
I completely agree! I ended up selling the strap. I love this bag as a top handle bag. But I do have other straps to use crossbody if I need. đ
Very cute. Just got one with pink strap, I was debating if I would like one when it came out then I thought this could be a great travel bag for me so hopefully it will work for me. Definitely will get another strap for it.

Iâve just bought this bag but had to return it for an exchange as I wasnât happy with the stitching on the vachetta trim on the bottom. Iâve bought a strap extender chain and it looks great as a crossbody with that option. đ

I love this bag, but do not like the guitar type strap. Great idea... LV should sell the straps separately or you should have a choice of the strap or chain you want for the bag you purchase. The only reason I would not buy the bag is because of that wide guitar strap.

I just watched your video yesterday then today I went to the shop just looked around and randomly asked SA about this speedy 20 in any fabric I just would love to try on whether it would fit well on me. First time, she said she had one in black leather and didnât have in monogram canvas but later she walked out to me with thissss lovely monogram canvas. Itâs so unbelievable!!!! When I tried it on I couldnât resist with this strap. I didnât expect to pay for this bag but I might regret it later so yeahâŠ. I bring her homeđ„°đ„° but now the next piece is looking forward to get a strap to change the style >

The guitar strap is more trendy and the other strap is definitely more classicâŠ. Lv knows that people will want the more classic look of the vachette strap and will probably buy another strap for it

I bought purse extenders for my straps. I don't love it either and it's a dirt magnet. But definitely keeping it in the event I get tired of it and want to sell it.
Thatâs a good idea to keep the strap in case you sell it! Maybe buy another strap to try with the bag! I hope you find one that works for you!

Does it have a date stamp in your speedy 20? I just bought mine from the LV boutique but I canât find the date stamp. Do they still do the stamp?
And by the way, the new one do the strap adjustable now.
Most Louis Vuitton bags donât have the date stamps anymore. Theyâre now microchipped! However I have found some smaller bags and SLGs will still have date stamps but in those instances, I think itâs because theyâre not lined and so thereâs nowhere for them to place the microchip. Hope that helps! âșïž
do you get color transfer on the vachetta when wearing jeans etc? I just got my speedy 20 yesterday and very worried about color transfer and water marks! (Still debating if I should spray protectant on the vachetta)
The vachetta on the speedy 20 is already treated so Iâve noticed that it doesnât absorb water at all. Once I notice water on the leather, I wipe it quickly. No water marks so far! I havenât gotten color transfer either.

Odd, I see the strap is adjustable and isnât a guitar style strap. I was eyeing this bag but now Iâm confused with the strap.
The strap that came with my speedy 20 is the non-adjustable guitar strap. But LV has changed the strap. Itâs the same but now theyâve made it adjustable.

I bought one last month and one side of the bag looks awful, itâs like they cut the material too short and sew it together, had to return it and was able to score one today from the website.
