What he's showing you are options and possible min-maxing tips. You really don't need most of these to start off hunting. If you think this is considered sweaty, then 90% of the content in this game would be considered sweaty.
Really think you should make two version of every guide. 1. For new players with no capitol 2. For experienced players who can invest a lot. Too much of this video is dedicated to items. I have ADHD and could not focus because all these items I don’t have
Having ADHD isnt a be all end all, if you cant focus write it down, pause and watch in segments? Your watching a 45 min guide on class, buffs, gear, mechanics and more. maybe watch a smaller video lmao
You can swap to songs on shai and get a huge buff to move speed, and shoot like a machine gun, reload is increased when you swap do song swap back for 1 minute. This is on top of the roll attack speed.
You are right, there used to be a hedghog included in the game bundles. But in 2022, they refreshed the packages and changed the contents so that those that have bought the bundles before, can purchase them again.
Maybe i missed it, but just in case: i assume, one could add a crystal slot to the (hunting) costume and add a +1crit or +2 movement crystal (aquired through melting the proper costume)) might save the constant use of one of the buffs
Yes but i found if i made hunting crystal setup I had more crystals slots than i needed since 2 Crit Hit Damage where the only crystals that effect damage. I could switch those for the Infinty back attack crystals... i added 2 Infiinity durabilty crystals also... the rest where health, weight, energy nothing that should effect Kills per hour.
Thanks for the guide. I didn't know to get started I would have to buy TRI Manos gathering tools, TRI Loggia, a campsite, maids, extra weight and then some. I took a second mortgage on the house but I think I can start hunting now
Hmmm gathering tool wasn't necessary... you could do it with magic, loggia or leights tool. 😅a horse for overstacking should be enough to alleviate the weight issue
Now how am I supposed to get the fresh hunter's salad, crocs and whales seem to give 1-2 meat regardless of mastery, by the time I've gathered that I'd probably reload enough times to make it a total waste of time.
Please make a sniper rifle guide .... I have watched LoML Sniper hunting guides and most of your previous hunting guides dont really apply to Sniper Rifle hunting (in the LoML for more loot).... big differences i think are (1) back attack wont matter (2) Manos doesnt effect gather loot rate but does effect your aim time (3) Some Vids say to eat & drink gather drop rate buffs not crit hit and attack speed (4) crystals have all changed since LoML (5) they say attack speed is less critical............ before without a sniper rifle i would Hunt Rhinos in defense/back attack accessorys and swap to my manos gear when i gathered the loot. I also rotated between a attack alch stone, life stone and kahns heart.... i dont think this will benifit me in sniper hunting but it would be nice to see a guide from you. Your Vids are the best guides !!!!!!
Not to be picky, but you should have explained Morcos Bag when Hunting. Swapping between Combat gear and Gathering gear is a big deal. Swapping between gear to kill, then swap to manos to gather. Otherwise a really good guide.
Now with the recent patch that changed how crystals are equipped it makes a portion of this guide obsolete.. yet again. But figuring that stuff out for ourselves can be fun too :)
@@lionheart619js Crystals are now equipped not on the gear but in a separate window, so it doesn't matter if you have hunting clothes + rifle equipped, you can still wear the same crystals. You can also change between crystal presets, just like with different artifact sets.
I need help, my main lifeskill char is sorc which she has Casting Speed stat on P does it matter if im using caster class? Do i need to max +5 casting speed?
9:14 do you think the "canine tooth" combination is better than the "blink of an eye" lightstone set? the only difference between those 2 is with canine tooth you get critical hit rate 8% but with the blink of an eye you get 10% reload speed. Do you think the crit is better than the reload speed?
Can someone explain to me how the shai self buff 25% attack speed works exactly? I tried to find more details about how to activate it but I couldn't find anything other than some mentions in hunter guides such as this one. The closest thing I could find was Tuck-and-Roll but it's 20% attack speed for only 10 seconds. It would feel insane for me to keep swapping between my weapons just to maintain the buff. So I came to the conclusion that it wasn't it, at least hopefully for me. Thank you ahead for the answer(s).
Ok, I figured it out after checked a shai hunter (Mukow Moltivki) doing it. He's using Sun, Moon, Stars III with the PEN Artina Sol to get the 25% attack speed then equip his matchlock proceed to kill for about a minute and then switch again to his weapon repeat the process. It's interesting to see that he's also using the mouse to target when pulling multiple rhinos.
Decided to get into hunting for red meat and energy sink for my cook. Great guide, but unless I'm doing something wrong (and please let me know) the matchlock durability is an issue. I crafted a +10 artisan and it lasts like 20 kills, which is a small amount of energy (using 20% dura crystals). I know the Master version has 150 dura and a brand will help, but it very much seems like having the p2w camp is almost a necessity. Also, even with a TRI Manos Hunting clothes I take a lot of hits and so HP potions are a thing (still haven't gotten infinite). So a heads up about repair and hp pots for people without those. Maybe it's just the frost wolves I was trying to kill ... Edit: Getting better at rolling to avoid attacks helped a lot with HP pot needs, but the matchlock durability is still annoying as of yet. Edit 2: Sidestepping while reloading helps avoid a great deal of the attacks as well. So hopefully between my improved skill, eventual TET Manos, and one part of the infinite HP pot it should sort out hp loss into a non-issue.
@@imPansy Thanks for the reply! It's about 25 kills per 100 durability on on the artisan 10 matchlock now that I have a crystal preset. I have 5/5 on all the important stat categories and am using a destro spirit stone along with my treant's. I think the key thing is with a +10 artisan it takes an average of 4 shots to kill a frost wolf for me and it seems like durability cost is directly attached to shots fired that hit something. I've tried rolling behind for back attacks, but they reorient pretty quick so most of my shots are frontal. Maybe it's a skill issue of something I'm missing, or does maybe the character I'm using being only lvl 57 has an impact? or maybe since it's a ranger without any helpful class buffs is more negatively significant than I was hoping. Anyhow, I think with the dmg increase once I get a master +10 and a brand stone it should help a bit more but in general it seems like hunting isn't an effective energy dump. I do sheep butchering and with the green thumb I can drop my 425 energy, use a 50 energy pot, and butcher enough to almost run out of my branded TET manos butcher knife dura in 30 min. Hunting does seem better for the meat so far tho, so I have everything ready to craft the +10 master other than the Breath of Narcion which is on back order. Pretty sure it's like a lot of the rest of the game where there's significant effectiveness penalties until you get the top of the line stuff in place. I'll let you know in case you find the feedback helpful, but regardless your video series on this were great and much appreciated :)
So the +10 master branded matchlock is a big difference. Now I can stay multiple rotations before having to repair and it feels a lot better. Anyone considering getting into hunting, from my experience you will have some issues with durability and HP. The main f2p ways to mitigate them are to get at least TRI Manos clothes, +10 master matchlock and use the item brand (I believe you get a free one from hunting progression pas but I haven't done it yet), and get at least one part of the infinite potion usable. Beyond that the P2W campsite for on-site repairs would be very helpful I believe, TET Manos clothes, TRI Manos butcher knife, and completion of the infinite potion will make you nearly invincible and be able to stay out on your hunting trip for a very long time.
Quick question, with the new sniper riffle hunting we do, tehre is a chance we do perfect +critical hit. how does crit damage affect this hunting mechanic?
Are there any more items besides kaia necklace that gives back attack damage? Could have sworn a guildie showd me more..google search doesnt even bring up kaia necklace.
So, my main is Dark Knight and I kind of just wanted to do everything on her. Is the fact that she doesn't have +crit hit going to be a big hindrance later? Should I use a different class specifically for Hunting? Like is there a big enough impact where it's just not worth doing Hunting on DK? I'm not going for the super sweaty min-max, but I also still care about these details. Thoughts?

personal preference. Some have a separate char for life skilling and another for PVE/PVP. That's how I do it. For Hunting, Succ Striker/Mystic are really strong due to passives so some make alts to hunt for that reason as well
Does the Hedgehog matter that much? If I have almost everything from this guide except the Hedgehog, how much am I losing on? I already have spent 1.5bil on mastery clothes to get me to 400 mastery to get started today after early season graduation

Some people switching gear while hunting, they're using patrigio so they can kill mobs with a spesific gear and while it comes to gathering they're switcing mastery gear. do you have any info about that ? Ty

start with logia, he explained in guide, its good guide, overall for any life skill if your starting and you dont have money, start with logia gear get it to duo-tri-tet, change clothes to tet manos, then change your logia gear for tri manos.... just upgrade as you play
Pansy, I have the exact same gear as you and i am Master 13, the sheet says i should kill 210 rhinos per hour(7100meats/hr) and I am killing 130/ hr (4200 meats/hr) ??????????? Gathering is Artisian 6. I dont see how i can improve my kill rate by 100% and thats just the standard rate, there is high end and try hard preset .... that has my money per hour off by 50% ...yes i am not as good as you dodging and getting back attacks but i dont see me being 50% slower, I am rotating alch stones and rotating from Kia necklace to Manos III neckless when i butcher. My bass stats have +5 CH, AS, MS and with a perfume of swiftness my gather is +15. I dont have the pay to win costume but I dont think it effects combat. I am eating exqusite Crons and drinking frenzys for Crit Hit damage and Back attack ... I have a branded +10 MASTER weapon, T4 hedgehog and T4 Durability pet .... i have two durability crystals and two crit hit damage crystals too.... I just dont see how my kill rate can be 50% off. Today i may go count Rhinos killed with no Kia necklace rotation or alchemy stone rotation just use the destruction for six minutes. The Kia necklace rotations sometimes requires me to dodge roll before the acc will switch. I am keep the treant alch stone and destruction alch stones up then i switch back to the Khans heart for manos 25 bonus... i keep the kia necklace up then switch to Manos III when i gather. i am killing packs of 3.
Master matchlock +10 is the main defining gear for hunting kill speed. Then it's based on skill. The quickest way to kill Rhino's is to pull 5-6 on you, then shoot all the ones infront of you while crouched to increase reload speed. Always get back attacks, since Rhino's will constantly run through you, you don't need to turn much

20 kills? Doesn’t seem right. Is the max durability full? I usually go 30 min at verdure deer without the brand before I have to repair

Does the level of the character matter? For example can I have a lvl 49 hunting character or do I need to go beyond 60 to hunt certain monsters?
You can't use muskets on a char 49 or lower. Same goes for cannons

If you don’t care about min maxing, I wouldn’t worry too much. Just use back atk dmg crystals instead of corrupted.
How does succ guardian compare to striker. She has a crit rate passive and also a critical dmg passive
If you already started hunting on guardian then I wouldn’t worry about it man. It’s really not a major deal unless going for min max

There's a delay on the interface for bullet recovery. U need to do questline for crouched roll

Haha yeah centaurs and stuff are lit on season. Hunting does over 1b later on but grinding does more all round. Huntings less effort though

Yes, There was test done to verify it by some BDO lifeskill discord hunters, and verified that gathering drop rate works in hunting

Why use elixirs for max stats sheet when u can just equip 5 cheap crystals and keep it forver on ?

Yeah I don't think she has any good passives for hunting

It's used as a part of the set-effect for lightstone combinations, usually in the more expensive and nicer effects.
Does arsha affect hunting at all
I believe all drop rate buffs affect the chance of the elite mob spawning. I used to do Narcion Deer hunting on Arsha because it was in a safe zone :P

start with logia, he explained in guide, its good guide, overall for any life skill if your starting and you dont have money, start with logia gear get it to duo-tri-tet, change clothes to tet manos, then change your logia gear for tri manos.... just upgrade as you play

Pansy, I have the exact same gear as you and i am Master 13, the sheet says i should kill 210 rhinos per hour(7100meats/hr) and I am killing 130/ hr (4200 meats/hr) ???????????
Gathering is Artisian 6. I dont see how i can improve my kill rate by 100% and thats just the standard rate, there is high end and try hard preset .... that has my money per hour off by 50% ...yes i am not as good as you dodging and getting back attacks but i dont see me being 50% slower, I am rotating alch stones and rotating from Kia necklace to Manos III neckless when i butcher. My bass stats have +5 CH, AS, MS and with a perfume of swiftness my gather is +15. I dont have the pay to win costume but I dont think it effects combat. I am eating exqusite Crons and drinking frenzys for Crit Hit damage and Back attack ... I have a branded +10 MASTER weapon, T4 hedgehog and T4 Durability pet .... i have two durability crystals and two crit hit damage crystals too.... I just dont see how my kill rate can be 50% off. Today i may go count Rhinos killed with no Kia necklace rotation or alchemy stone rotation just use the destruction for six minutes. The Kia necklace rotations sometimes requires me to dodge roll before the acc will switch. I am keep the treant alch stone and destruction alch stones up then i switch back to the Khans heart for manos 25 bonus... i keep the kia necklace up then switch to Manos III when i gather. i am killing packs of 3.
Master matchlock +10 is the main defining gear for hunting kill speed. Then it's based on skill. The quickest way to kill Rhino's is to pull 5-6 on you, then shoot all the ones infront of you while crouched to increase reload speed. Always get back attacks, since Rhino's will constantly run through you, you don't need to turn much
thanks @@imPansy with practice my kill rate went way up & I am around Guru 13 and love hunting ... i still think his sheet is little high for Rhinos/hour but its a good baseline. Also i make way more because i cook the meats for bal. meals imp turn ins (214 crates daily)

the materials have to be in the storage in the city that the worker lives at and not where the workshop you are using is.
