I was an 80s kid listening to music that spoke to the rage and pain I was living through. Drums were my outlet. Rock understood me. I understood rock. Had I persued getting in a band I might have overdosed. I am still here because I didn't live out my dream.
First time I heard appetite it was on cassette,my friend brought it over,we wore it out,it changed are lives.We thought they were the baddest mothers ever.

Why are they all of the sudden talking about Punk Rock? Guns N' Roses had nothing to do with Punk Rock, and they were never, ever part of the scene. Guns N' Roses came from a Glam background, not "Punk sensibilities". Geez!
You did not listen.... Duff is the punk rocker in Guns n Roses, that's why GNR had and still has that "Punk Sensibility" GNR has different influences that make up the Band, and Punk Rock is one of them because of Duff.
I want to thank both of these amazing artist. Henry and Duff both have changed my life for the better. Specially GNR. The first time I heard them I became a big fan instantly. I never got bullied again in school . I started getting straight A's on all of my classes and thanks to GNR now I am Engineer. To all those people who told me I wouldn't amount to anything and that was including some of my teachers and even some professors in the university I prove them all wrong. And Henry Rollins also helped me get through some of my darkest moments, thank you so much Henry !!!!.. Axl you are a Rock God !!!!! Love you all of you guys.
