If youre going to crappie fish bro you need to go to walmart or somewhere and invest in the litte panfish measuring thinv you just drop the fish in. Its quicker easier and safer lol keeps them from jumping all over the place.
Black crappie are more prominent in Alabama especially most of our lakes. White crappie are in some lakes but ive caught more in rivers and big creeks.

Good crappie catching video. Why don't you adjust you bottom depth to be just 5 feet below the actual depth? This will help you see fish better!
