This is my fifth multi-Joker edit so I wanted to make something a bit different. Special thanks to Joshua Ashby, a patient sub of mine who is also a huge Joker fan. He gave me the idea to go for a Joker anniversary edit last year and he also recommended me to check out and include MK11's Joker!

I love how a bunch of their lines are so similar. They dont always mean to reference other Jokers, but it happens anyway. It shows how much the writers understand the character.

Glad you included Gotham in the list. Neither Jerome or Jeremiah are technically the Joker, but really the only thing they lack is the iconography (pretty much just the green hair) and the name. Beyond that, Jerome is the chaos, psychotic Joker where Jeremiah is the genius Joker.

The joker has very much become the modern day Hamlet. So many actors have played him, and every time we get a new one we wonder what fun new spin they’re gonna bring to the role.

80 years and there have been many different variations and versions of the joker some are great, some are terrible, some are terrifying, some are funny but overall he is still one of the most recognizable comic book villains ever.

@@alanacrane Absolutely. I don't blame him, either. His Joker had some good qualities (the first version of the Joker to have bleached skin rather than painted), but unfortunately what was good about his incarnation was outweight by what was bad.

For those who could care less about Jared Leto, please remember this... he was practically shoehorned into SUICIDE SQUAD. Never even given a full solo project, let alone a mere Harley Quinn/Joker 2 hour backstory. SQUAD should have been a sequel to a simple Leto version of JOKER. I know that Joaquin Phoenix's take will be stuck in the minds of so many fans ( Hell, it's the last film I bothered to watch inside a movie theater! ) Always loved Mark Hamill for voicing the Clown Prince of Crime. And Jack Nicholson? By God, how devious it was to make him the man who created Batman?! Had Jared Leto been given the chance, say, 15 years ago, he would have been great in a solo Joker movie. Bad marketing and horrendous timing on WB for screwing the pooch with SQUAD! All that said, thanks for posting that great tribute video...😎🇵🇷🇺🇸📽🗽🦂

This works perfectly, because as the Joker says if he wants a past he "prefers it to be multiple choice." So here we have different versions of the Joker, all spliced together as if they were different versions of the same story. They could be, or they could not be. This is the beauty and insanity of the character.
