Oh love, you have enabled us again. That Moon Deer is breathtaking❤ The beach piece is so soothing on that sand colored fabric. The shape you have stitched lends itself to the shape of a Christmas stocking. Wouldn't that be lovely!?!
Your fully finished lilac cross stitch looks beautiful. As does all your stitching. It is a pleasure visiting with you. Thank you for sharing your hobby with us.
I have missed watching your flosstube so much! I was working the past year caregiving, which became overwhelming as I went from working one day last year to working 7 days a week this year. She was 97 and passed away so I am enjoying being home❤
Thank you for your video. All your stitching is so beautiful. I have said it before you choose such different patterns which I really love. Look forward to the next video.
Vanaf het begin kijk ik al naar je flosstube. Erg mooie projecten. Vind het altijd leuk om ze te kijken en ondertussen te borduren. Veel borduurplezier!
I look forward to your videos, Hanneke. You stitch such lovely pieces and your voice is so pleasing to the ear. Thank you for sharing. I am quite fond of the red flower/geometric piece as well. Take care, my friend.
Thank you so much, Sarah, I appreciate your visits! I have stitched quite a bit on the red flower piece and am already sad that it will be finished at some point. Luckily there is plenty more to stitch and we do not have to be bored ;).
I love the changes you're making on the French piece. LOVE the little blue house and the other changes you plan sound wondeful. I think the amount of chatting you do is just perfect, not too much or too much. Its interesting to see the different things you do compared to what I see in USA and the things that are the same. Very much enjoy your channel!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that. Isn't it interesting how we all have such different patterns, supplies and styles from country to country! Part of why I love our international community on flosstube :). Happy stitching!
Your stitching is a joy to see :). And your framed Lilacs stitch is stunning. Yes it’s so nice to enjoy our stitching in our home. Your holiday sounds wonderful - enjoy! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for another lovely video! I always enjoy seeing your beautiful stitching. You seem to choose such interesting pieces, many of which are new to me. I particularly love the red and black piece. Your introductory film is taken not too far from where I live. Aberystwyth is my special place too!
Thank you Brenda! I have only done one stitch along and dropped out halfway through. Problem is that when I set a goal on something, I suddenly want to stitch something else. I am weird like that ;). But if I chose a pattern from the book at some point I would love for you to start one too. Then we can motivate one another. Have you got a favorite from the book?
@@adutchstitcher I really like the Silver-leaved Daisy and the Butterfly Bellpull. I had this book for many years and still haven't started either one. I never have completed a stitch along in the set time frame but usually get it finished(years after!). I try to stitch on all my WIPs during the year but having over 40 sometimes one gets missed.
I always watch your videos right away when they pop up in my feed. Your projects are so lovely. I have also discovered lately that I am drawn to geometric patterns. I’m still working on Colors of Water and I also have a Carolyn Manning called Stained Glass on the go. I enjoy the symmetry.
Thank you so much for watching my videos! I love those stained glass patterns from her, they are so unique. Enjoy colors of the water! Gorgeous piece :). Happy stitching
Hi again, gorgeous projects and stitching as usual. There is a movement called Save The Stitches, which tries to save the projects in 2nd hand shops... but you are right, we can't save them all.😢 Your birds of the bush are Australian birds!! We have the top two in our garden frequently.. Thanks again Teri
Thanks Teri! I didn't know about that movement so will look that up. It can be so disheartening to see such gorgeous pieces forgotten in a corner somewhere. Perhaps I should buy a castle and instead of painting I could hang the walls with cross stitch ;). One can dream ;). Happy stitching
Dear Hanneke, what a nice video again! You've made great progress on your WIPs, and the projects are beautiful. I've also been watching your videos since Flosstube #1 and am excited to see that you're nearing 2K. Very well deserved 😊 The teacups are lovely, please keep showing them. The book you bought is really nice and the birds in it are soooo beautiful. How funny you mentioned "Finca" floss: I've never heard of it until about a week ago 😅 I've purchased in our favourite online shop an older kit on sale, and it has Finca floss. It is a Spanish 6 stranded cotton floss, looks nice, but I haven't stitched with it yet. I'll have next Friday off and hope to get some FFO-ing done, hm, we'll see. You always inspire me with your FFOs. Have a great stitchy weekend! I'm "watching" the soccer games of EM2024, but actually get quite a lot of stitching done while my husband is cheering. Thank you for the nice video! Zsófi
Nice to see you here again :). Isn't that a coincidence, that we both learn about Finca floss ;). I hop eyou'll enjoy working with it! Good luck on FFO'ing. I also stitch through the matches ;). Happy stitching!
That was such a beautiful flosstube! I just love your projects! When you named the china cup pattern I thought it was the same one I had but I have a Dundee Thistle cup. Your vacation and stitching spot sounds so peaceful. Have a good time away!
Hello from Buffalo New York. Lilacs are gorgeous, it looks dimensional. I like the 48 sampler, your coloring is pretty. All your stitching is very nice, lovely to see. I really enjoy your flosstube, always look forward to them. Be careful in the shop that sells Royal Albert😁thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for watching all the way from Buffalo New York! So true, I always feel like a bull in a literal china shop when I am in there ;). Happy stitching
Love the variety in your projects. Thanks for sharing the Jan Woodman book. I’ve been thinking about it for a long time, seeing inside pushed me to get it 😀
Enjoyed your Flosstube. 1st time watching. You have such a nice variety of projects, many I have never seen. The Landmarks is fascinating. When you were talking about your Prince Albert teacups I remember the tea cups and saucers I had been given from my aunt. I had them packed in my attic because I have no room for them. I had to check to see if any were Prince Albert. They are not. I am stitching and drinking tea out of my "My Cup Of Tea" mug. This is from a tea shop.on the Orange Mound area of Memphis, Tennessee. They sell tea but it is also a mission to help the community and the women there.
Thank you Christy, for visiting with me. If lived in memphis I would love to visit that tea shop :). I love that you checked your packed away china for Royal Albert. I love them, but there are plenty other gorgeous brands. Thank you for watching. Happy stitching!
My mother lived in Weststellingwerf many years ago. I'm not sure of the proximity to where you will we but it will be nice to see what the area looks like.

Another glorious video. I love them all, and your videos exude such peace and serenity. Every wip you share, the fabric is not creased or folded. Do you roll the fabric and stitch in hand, or do you use a frame to stitch with? Can you please share in your next video. Could you also create a video of any ffos that may be hanging on your walls so we can get a feel of how you show case your artwork? Thank you again. I've been with you since day one, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the journey with you. God bless ❤🙏
Thank you so much for watching! I do appreciate your visits and am so honored you have been watching from day one. I like your idea on showing my ffo's as I display them. I will think on that for a bit. I stitch in hand and roll the fabric to hold it. But before I do my flosstube I iron all the pieces I want to show you. Happy stitching
Oh your stitching is so beautiful. I love all of it! Well...particularly the flowers. I'm currently stitching Huckleberry Farm by The Blue Flower and for once, I'm stitching monogamously. I picked it up last week after not touching it for months and have since put in about 3,600 stitches. I'm using Markup R-XP, something like Pattern Keeper. I'm excited to see that it projects a July 3 finish if I keep stitching at this rate. That would be awesome to get a finish on this big piece.
Hi Kathy, good for you focusing on one piece. It must be lovely to have some proper progress on it! I am sending you all the positive energy I can find and hope you will be able to finish it in July. Good luck!
Love your stitching choices as well as the Royal Albert and I share your appreciation of such lovely pieces for your service. I'm very glad you are still enjoying stitching Moonlit Garden and btw those aren't grapes but hydrangeas and you are doing such a lovely stitch of it. It was inspired by a night when I was a newlywed and we lived in Miami, Florida. We loved visiting the beach on moonlight nights and a favorite spot was a beautiful old house on the ocean that had such wonderful gardens and one in particular had extensive cast iron work that was full of hydrangeas and roses growing through it. Enjoying seeing all your stitching and hope you'll enjoy your upcoming holiday.
Thanks for that! I so love that piece and have already done another section of the third row. Love the story behind it! I'll chip away at it stitch by stitch :). Thank you for sharing your designs with the world!
