I'm from Philippines and married to a Kenyan too. We met also in Dubai in 2006, we broke up in 2009 and in 2012 he started calling me again, he was in Turkey and I was still in Dubai that time. We were in a long distance relationship for a year. In 2013 he proposed to me to marry him. I went back to my country in 2014 and he went to Philippines and we get married there. After we got married he went back to Turkey and i went back to Dubai then to Turkey after my contract . Until now we still here in Turkey. Its Gods will too, i know. Put God first in everything you do and the rest will follow. God bless both you Grace and Eric.

Hi Lynn, thank you for this awesome Eric & Grace story. I met my Asian wife in 2018 in Europe when I was on scholarship. We got married and blessed with a beautiful baby girl. We stayed in Western Kenya for nearly a year. She was very humble, she has a great relationship with my mum.

So true- God is Love. However, if Adam and Eve were the only first people and every living came from them, how can there be more than one race? If there is only one race - the human race, then it can't be interracial, considering we all came from Adam and Eve and then Noah and his three sons and their wives. We've been lied to for so long to believe we're different races because of the colour of our skin but nothing could be further from the truth. All we are are different "people groups" and we hail from the source as parents. The human race is ONE.

I have faith, I believe in Him, and He is all that I need. I know that I am saved. Her sharing hits me doubly because I am part Filipino, and I feel offended for a lot of Catholic Filipinos who have deep relationships with Him. I'm not surprised by her sentiment however; my experience is that a lot of Protestants say the same where I'm from. However, I ignore them. I do not let allow other people to tell me about my relationship with God--that is between Him and me solely. Our Catholic faith will continue to sustain us.

I love the story of Grace and Erik. Their relationship seems to be beautifully God-centered. Once a marriage is between three, God, you, and me, it will be strong. I’ve been interracially married for 48 years, to a man of a completely different culture, and faith is the reason we are still together! We had 2 children together, boy and girl, and his 3 sons not from our union. Our daughter died at 17 but we have 15 grandchildren from all our sons!
