Thank you for the advise Pastor ,it encouraging to know that I'm not the only one who gets distracted with my worries even after I ask the Holy Spirit to lead me in prayer.
The Word says to,. "CAST those Cares on Him because He cares for us." Distractions are the devils ways of keeping me from hearing from the Lord Jesus 💖 Christ and NOT focusing on Important things pertaining to my Lord and Savior Jesus 💖 Christ. Amen 💖 AMEN
I recently starter doing this. And if I really wander off, I ask God to excuse me and I continue. And when I can't pray, I sing or read psalms. Don't let anything stop you from spending time with God.
Yes brother put God first in evrything we do at in our lives ,work, cooking , cleaning, even in our relationships even in our finances even the way that we should dress an act let us let him transform us in to a new creation in Christ Jesus amen
This is so true. I do it all the time in prayer. The Lord always answers and loves the fact that I share my concerns and my dilemmas with Him. It's our time. I share with Him all of my life..every area of my life.

Thank you yet again for the advice. I have set a certain Monday weekly to fast and pray for anything just to get myself closer to God to lead me throughout the week. Everytime there is always distractions like you said. And everytime I fight it and rebuke it... my prayer time got longer and I would be late for work. Also I ended up feeling that my prayer and fast time would be unfruitful. I gradually stopped fighting it. Like your advice exactly... I started praying for that things my mind is distracted and concerned about. And Yes indeed.. throughout the day I felt peaceful that surpassed my understanding. Any given time spent with God.. is never wasted. ❤

Naw, you aren't. There are times my mental squirrels get out, and they run every direction. This is the best advice I've ever heard.
