Dan Swano: Interview with Ricky of Moshville Times (Part 1)

Well this is a special one for me and marking my 300th article for Moshville Times, I had to reach out to a veteran of a death metal scene that I have loved since the late 80s. Everyone in metal, no matter your genre of choice, will most likely have heard of the name of Dan Swano in the last thirty or so years. Dan Swano is a multi-instrumentalist/vocalist and engineer at Unisound Studios based in Germany. Dan was an absolute gentleman and loves to talk all things Unisound, hence why parts one and two are an hour long. Part two will be posted within the next couple of days but in part one, you will learn how things are for Unisound during this pandemic, what recordings put Unisound on the map as well as excellent advice about how to get the ultimate sound.
