Rudolf Schenker once said on an old guitar video that he didn't want to be the fastest guitar player, or the best in the world but they wanted to compose great songs ,well they certainly did,fantastic musicians, composers and writers .
I have always love rock music but I love the ballad's. Scorpions has very awesome ballad's to listen too and I never get tired of them.There are so many bands that has many hits but when I started listening to the Scorpions music I couldn't stop listening to it.
Would love to see Scorpions do a tour with everyone from the whole history - Herman and Francis, Uli, and Michael and play a long show where they cover every period of the band. It would be an epic show.
The Scorpions feel like becoming more and more like a speed metal music band (apparent with the 70s Medley for example) than a pure hard rock music band. Competitor to Metallica.

But I've played them before and am waiting to download the best tracks from Amazon. On every album by every artist , there are tracks that are just "stocking fillers ". You never play them.
