Quran glorifies all the previous scriptures(i.e. Bible, Torah, Psalms etc) and their respective Prophets. Furthermore, Quran teaches to go against Satan and makes it compulsory to believe in Prophet Jesus (PBUH).
[Quran 41:43] Nothing is said to you, [O Muhammad], except what was already said to the messengers before you. Indeed, your Lord is a possessor of forgiveness and a possessor of painful penalty.

+Shrek Jo why so much hate about Muslims. we understand well our Holy Book and respected prophet. He taught us to be patient even with ur enemies and never abuse anybody. I still don't hate people in person but fellow human beings shall not be abused.

Well its not my first time, but it still touches my heart.
I stopped listening to music when I was 18 and I don't feel like listening to it any more because it not only sounds disturbing, but I feel it has a bad energy to it.
Try this experiment - stop listening to music for 40 days...your heart will be in so much peace and tranquility.
And of course once you taste the beauty of the Quran, there is no going back to music.

Mishary is best reciter, try Surahs Ar Rahman and Al Insan.
The bald dude with the sunglasses seems smart, albeit not yet informed. He initially thought "Indian", but second guessed himself when he noticed the melodic structure was different. Also, I could see how somebody who may not really know what Gujarati, etc. or Arabic sound like, I can understand his thought process.

Dear brothers at "Meet A Muslim NZ" ... May Allah reward you for what you do. I just next time to choose a suitable verses to be recited (e.g. story of Jesus peace be upon him) and to prepare a print out from the meaning of those verses which has to be given to volunteers. This may encourage them to go back and search. It may be a great way for Dawah.
