For 1986 it was a bit ahead of its time but has also become a timeless classic. One of the funkiest songs of its time .Still gets me groovin 25 years later. This is culturally so important its more a piece of pure art than a pop tune , as an aspiring 14 yr old guitar playing deep purple fan , this is one of the tunes that funked the hatred of everything black and disco out of me and ive never looked back 😊

what's crazy is this track is so dope but it's not even a drop in the bucket when it comes to how much juice there is in their extended catalogue. One of the best funk groups. If anyone reading this doesn't know 'Back And Forth', go listen to that right now.
For 1986 it was a bit ahead of its time but has also become a timeless classic. One of the funkiest songs of its time .Still gets me groovin 25 years later. A couple of years ago I played this for my grandson, who is not much of an 80s music fan. He didn't seem to impressed but 2 hours I heard him grooving and humming it to himself.
