    Two things I find that help: 1. Always use the higher speed. It actually "hurts" less(although I'm use to it and it doesn't phase me anymore) and picks up better. 2. Put powder on your legs/hair before epilating. I know lots of people suggest showering to open up the hair follicle and that's great if it works for you. I just know starting out I had some trouble getting it to grab all the hair. Plus now my hair has become so fine from using it that its sometimes more difficult. So powder sort of makes the hair dry/more course and easier for the epi to pick up.

      @@elizabethrai1971 oh! Waxing one... The one which is 2k something has only one type of trimmer/waxing blade. Waxing blade hurts a bit. It plucks the hair from inside of skin.. so it hurts the more. But it gives a very great finishing ... Waxing also hurts so am ok with this one. Trimmer blade doesn't hurt at all... And it obviously makes the hair grow faster as it cuts the hair. So for emergency purpose it's useful. Trimmer blade comes only with BRE245

    Hi, i have started using epilator for few months after watching one of your video. I'm a boy and i use it for removing armpits and pubic hairs. What i have experienced in these few months that it hurts a lot in first 3 to 4 tries. Even i have bleed too. But then i became used to its pain. Now i am okay with epilating hairs from armpits but still I'm not much used to the pain when i use it for below hairs. Which hurts like a hell.!!😂
    Btw your one suggestion was that epilate hairs after a warm shower that's very useful i hv tried it.
    I'm using Kemie's company epilator cause I'm not lucky as u r to get a free epilator from a good company.😢

    It Hurts a lot. No lying there ;)

  • @izzykuronekomiminobishoujo6910

    Well, you used it only on a small section and on your arm. Try on your armpits or the inside of your thights......hurts like hell, cause those areas are usually more sensitive than the rest of the skin. It all depends on your sensitivity and pain endurance. I've been using an epilator for 5 years now, and I'm used to it. The hair grows(at least in my case) for a month(and half) and the first time it will grow at an even pace, but after that it's on different pace, so one will be short while others are long. :D You just need to get used to it. And endure......endure. If you're not comfortable with the pain - just shave or depilate or whatever.
    I personally hate shaving, because when shaved, the hairs become thicker and harder, and uglier. My advise is to try plucking hairs on different parts of your body, that you'd like to be gone, and see how you respond to it. If you're ok - go and buy an epilator. :)

    • @izzykuronekomiminobishoujo6910
      @izzykuronekomiminobishoujo6910 Před 8 lety +7

      also, when shaved, hair does not stop growing or whatever - it is just cut off near the skin, but it continues to grow. When you epilate the hair is plucked from the roots, so it takes more time to start growing again. I prefer that it is gone for longer time.

      try using it near the chin first, as a patch test.
      you CAN use it if your skin is not so sensitive.beware of the small areas.

    What do you suggest.. waxing or epilator?

    • @celine2670
      @celine2670 Před 4 lety

      Epilator is cheaper because you only buy it once but for waxing you will need to go to appointments and pay every time or if you buy a wax machine you will always have to buy more wax so epilator is cheaper.

      @SuperWowstyle  Před 9 lety

      +Saumya Thakur cordless is better, but usually far far more expensive. personally i dont mind the corded one at all... the cord is long and doesn't come in the way anyway...

    • @SuperWowstyle
      @SuperWowstyle  Před 9 lety

      +Saumya Thakur that will vary on the product you choose. the more expensive ones will last longer than 40 mins. but I really don't see the point of all the hassle, when the corded ones work so wonderfully.
