How did they do the chair scene with a bare set?

There's pictures from the production that shows them using a chair for that scene! I think it must be the only prop they use, as it can't be done without it

Sarah Moran Interesting! I s'pose freeing it of set makes it more open to interpretation.

+I Do Monologues i've seen it twice in the west end. they do have props, but they're very minimal and the chair is only there for that scene. otherwise, the whole stage is empty and white, with seating all the way round it.
