@@zachariahsilva9289 like a fitted or snap back?
@@zachariahsilva9289Nah. Your life is one big 🧢. This song is the truth.
Man the homage to hip-hop in this song alone proves why 'real' hip-hop requires skilled MC's. Every now and then listening to underground / non-commercial hip-hop is so justifying.
Man. This is hard. I love hip-hop.
Thats it. Zombies are the best rap group out here rn. Hands down. This settles ir
Duhh lost minds would say migos
Run the Jewels takes it. Still love these guys tho
For me, Migos, Brockhampton, and the Zombies are all tied at number 1 right now.
You should check out injury reserve, dope group, I like their production more but Flatbush has the best lyricism
oh yeah i fw injury reserve. one of the other best groups out rn too is secret circle
Every line is homage. Juice's verse is particularly epic to me
Can we all just admire the fact that, in one verse, Juice referenced all of the following:
- Snoop Dogg
- Too $hort
- DMX
- 2pac
- Eazy E
- Dr.Dre
- The Game
- 50 Cent
- Nas
- Scarface
- Immortal Technique
- Fat Joe
- Biggie Smalls
- Missy Elliott
- Eminem
- Ice Cube
- Bone Thugs N Harmony
People underestimate Juice man
Kanye at 3:54! Boys do not play!
And Kurt Cobain and Kanye West
How u forgot Mobb Deep?
I pulled the list from Genius, so take it up with them, not me. No one's perfect.
The amount of references Meech makes on this are dopeeeee
Jose Andree Portillo rightttt
& the way he weaves them into his verse so seamlessly, what fuckin’ skill. Meechy paying respect to the greats, I love it.
Just listened for a 2nd time. They all make mad references, so dope.
All three had references
Jose Andree Portillo all of em make a shit ton of references
Juices verse was fucking amazing - them old school references
Oh shit Erick did it too
Then meech did it aswell - I should’ve waited for the whole song to finish😂

The references in this song to other rappers is crazy. Snoop, DMX Jay Z, Immortal Technique, Biggie, 2pac, Onyx, Nas, Slick Rick, Wu Tang, Grandmaster Flash and Furious Five, Mobb Deep, Jadakiss , KRS One, 50 cent, Xzibit, Smif N Wessun. And they are just the ones I caught.

I discovered these guys during the lockdown last year. I was an essential worker at a restaurant. Me alone in a kitchen. Their music couldn't have come at a better time. Love these guys
They're literally schooling these kids about hip hop.....
truth so many fucking hip hop references lol
Break some down for a nigga
Bill Nye The Gangster Guy nearly all the lyrics are hip hop song/album name titles
okay, so when this dude just lists classic records and album names, you celebrate him, but the game gets roasted whenever he does the same stuff?
Love, Love LOOOVED the Get rich or die tryin reference tho. rhyming "don't push me" with "I smell *****", godly
Yea every word from each of them damn near a hiphop classic that hiphop/rap has been built upon....Also I rock with The Game even when he drops hella references, we only talk about him because sometimes he can be the rap version of Cell (DBZ reference). Whoever he get on a track with he becomes when he really don’t have to do that
You gotta admire how they don’t used the “rapper” cars, they’re using a friggin’ Volvo. Respect. Major respect.

Everything 90's is said in this song! Unreal! Super great flows and perfect verses. All done with hats off to the greats of the early and mid 90s.
They need to make more full length albums. I discovered them like a year ago and they are some of the only rap artists I can stand listening to anymore
Y'all do realize this whole song is quoting hip hop albums, lyrics, and phrases from the past right? Do y'all understand how impressive, creative and next level this shit is?!? If you a true nerd of hip hop this song is honestly mind blowing.
Joe Silver not just hip hop even brings up Kurt cobain
He says "Durt Cobain" and not Kurt Cobain. Durt Cobain is one of Meechy's alias.
This shit is amazing !!! atleast im not the only one who realize this
Yes
The bone thugs, the dmx the Pac, made me listen harder and realised it. Came into the comments to make sure I wasn't crazy. It's not just music though. "I smell pussy" was from the movie Belly with DMX

Lost in Vegas does a reaction to this song, they name pretty much every reference on the spot, it's pretty dope
SuperMario1990 Bro flatbush zombies on that shit
This is the holy trinity of verses. Verse 1 reminds me that rap evolves; verse 2 reminds me that rap has core elements that shall never change; verse 3 reminds me that rap is eternal.

I like how they’ve gotten a new sound and juice had a different flow on this one it was nice. Who else can’t wait for April 6th! I’m going on a trip
To me it's same sound as 3001 and Juice has the same flow....it's all dopeness,
Nathan Chase this is not the 3001 sound
Sound very similar to me. I've listened to 3001 since the day it came out, over and over, and the main qualities of the instrumentals are very similar (deep, haunting, hypnotizing). Juice sounds like he did on 3001, so does Meech, so does Erick (which is a good thing). Thats just my opinion - I'm no expert.
Literally gave a hip hop history lesson in a song👏🏾👏🏾✊🏾 nd it dont stop
For the sake of Humanity genius

Still banging this track since the minute it dropped 😍😍😍
Woah, reading the lyrics right now just made me realize the song is basically a bunch of cleverly crafted references to a bunch of legend rappers, famous dead celebrities, and the titles of their songs; this song is a lyrically genius tribute to many fallen legends along with popular track names associated with many great rappers. I'll go ahead and presume that FBZ were/are big fans of the people and songs they've chosen to artfully weave into this song, and that's not all, even more impressive to me is FBZ somehow managed to turn it all into a decently coherent song with a theme, meaning/message, and even evokes emotional response to the listener even without reading into the lyrics to enough depth to understand the references. This song is art in my opinion. I somehow knew all the lyrics for several years now since first hearing the song and always loved this song, and felt it's meaning emotionally, yet didn't understand it's meaning cognitively until today. I only know a few FBZ songs but absolutely obsessed with the ones I do know of and listen to them often, and have lyrics memorized and able to rap along with ease. However I am not aware of this band enough or even know the names of the artists that are apart of it, and don't at all know their story, their personality, their lives, their musical purpose and what they're really about. So I don't call myself a fan for those reasons, not just of FBZ but any artist or group that I don't fully commit my time and energy and interest into. But I have to say, I think that will change for me very soon. This revelatory moment of reading the lyrics just now, and thus finally developing actual comprehension of them and not just be simply memorized in my head as they had been now for so long. Knowing/hearing lyrics is definitely not the same as understanding/ comprehending them. having said all this, I admit I've officially gained a bit of respect for them and my interest in FBZ has been piqued; I want to hear their entire discography now. I'm a person who appreciates and respects music that, along with quality song and music video production and having a great sound/beat I truly enjoy, also has meaningful lyrics and/or meaning and a message. I don't like songs that are superficial and have no purpose. (I appreciate anyone reading this whole comment too, if anyone even does. I am a very deep thinker who analyzes everything in my life and also if I'm in a good mood + comfortable I can be very talkative, also open and honest, always discussing the little details within a bigger picture and finding the profundity in many things, even that which seems meaningless, mundane and simple to everyone else. I am notorious for my novel-length comments, messages, texts, emails, letters.. hell, I can't be brief and concise to save my life. I'm a walking breathing living Ted Talk. Thanks for coming to this one!) 😂
thank you! aide na duneri

Andrew Starace Spread love it's the Brooklyn way.
Anyone saying hip hop is dead needs to take 4:28 out of their life and review this.
This track blew my mind when it originally released and still does..
I got 4 years left to live and all these songs bring back so many good memories 💞
This will become an anthem! A landmark! For those who love Hip Hop this should be mandatory. The references are insane, the beat, the hook, the flows! Genius!

they cancer compared to this
They came from my city 😩
Yeah if you think about it only the underachievers are up with them. Pro era and black hippy haven't released nothing strong. U right FbZ are really the best rap group out there

FZ are one of the most overlooked bands she y of the last 20 years! Like Eric says the band hooking up was unusual to him! Lucky the fit is so perfect!
The song is so well put together! Giving tribute to a bunch of phat rap Jamz! Totally genius!
Shame on me that I only discovered this a few months ago. This song has not a single second that isn't fire. Every single part was dope, the hook is a solid 12/10 and the beat???? THE BEAT???? Jesus, this is a true masterpiece right here.
But the best part about this is the references. Very few manage to even include any references to the golden era of hip-hop, but a whole part only consisting of references? Goddamn, that is true skill.
I love everything about this song
3:44 love the reference to sound of da police
There is not one line in this song that isn't a reference 👌 As a music lover I'm impressed.
As a FBZ fan.. still impressed 👏

Doubt it. They aren't mainstreamed sadly
I love all the samples and sounds they used, throwback to Kanye and older artists that made todays music how it is now. This song is an era worth of music wrapped into one.
