Beautiful video that I never get tired of watching. Magnificent horses, "expert" riders. I've never ridden, but I love the horses and the ones shown in the videos, they are of a beautiful species, beautiful, so beautiful that it makes you want to give them a big kiss. Do they bite?
Beautiful landscapes and wonderful animals, from fairy tales, that dance a dream ballet that many of us would like to dream, a "dream of freedom"! Beautiful video!
At 2.15 you can see (just for a second) what always should be: the riders heel moving down in the rythm of the horses movement. Riding gets realy a lot easyer when one learns how to reach this. I have been so luky to discover "Centered Riding" and for the first time my riding improved. I can only recomend it.
Hmmm. ab 2:40 sieht man - so man hinschaut - wie der Reiter im Sattel geworfen wird. Der Rücken des Pferdes bewegt das Becken des Reiters, dieses nimmt die Bewegung auf. Von dort geht sie über die Knie hinunter zu den Fußgelenken. Bei korrektem Sitz heben und senken sich dann die Fersen im Takt (zu sehen bei 2.15) und der Oberkörper bleibt ruhig. Schön zu sehen beim Video "Spanische Hofreitschule, Lipizzaner auf Stadtspaziergang", ca. 1:58. Wobei es auch hilft, wenn die Steigbügel an der korrekten Stelle sind. In dieser Position (zu weit drinnen) machen sie ein Schwingen der Gelenke sehr schwer. Wer hat Lust, sich das Reiterleben leichter zu machen (an die Vorbildwirkung denken!)? Mit freundlichen Grüßen!
