My sons father used to do this to me all the time. It’s a method to break you down and depend on them for everything. One time I cooked and he was saying my food was so nasty and my family was telling me he’s crazy that was the best meal I’ve made. Ever since that day I haven’t been able to cook anything right then when I decided to part ways I learned how to cook again and realized the man was playing mind games with me the whole time.
They could be serving cow tongue with a side of roach wings and cigarettes and leave it to Jeannie to say, "this is SOOO good". she's so extra and I love it 😂
