    Probably just me because I’m old, but it looks like the leg-o-mutton sleeve is making a comeback. I have the feeling that designers have run out of new ideas and are combining everything that has been done into a dress. Those fashions looked all over the place-LOM sleeves, broad shoulder looks, puffy sleeves, slits to the prize, baroque lace cuffs, crazy veils, and much more. Has it all been done and there are no new looks?😳

    Only 6 minutes in and don’t know how much more of this I can take. The dresses are stunning - for their design, use of fabrics - some lace, some so magnificently flowing over the model’s form. BUT, I’m SO tired of models who look either completely emotionless or angry. This is a BRIDAL show for heaven’s sake. The only model who looks like she understands what a wedding is and has a fabulous attitude is the older gray haired model in the jumpsuit/dress. The other models look as if they’re looking for a hot date, not “walking down the aisle”!

    • @RoseKB22
      @RoseKB22 Před rokem

      @@skystar6823 For runway purposes the model is able to show off the skirt more. For real life purposes, the bride can have functional pockets in her gown. Women's clothes over the years have been deprived of functional pockets for the sake of "The fashionable silhouette" and probably companies cutting fabric costs. Not everyone wants to carry a backpack or a giant purse everywhere. Sometimes you need pockets. Men wonder why women carry giant bags? Because their attire often isn't designed with utility in mind.

    Far from the best but quite a varied & lovely selection, most could find at least 3 or 4 to their liking. So, all are not great, but definitely some are. I don't appreciate the few 'strapless gowns' which did not have a high enough bodice, most were fine, but many of the models have long torsos & it is apparent the bodice of the gown was too short, too low, as if there wasn't enough time or fabric to make a proper cut... barely covering the nipples of their breasts, one can only shake their head how this could have been intentional for a bride. I very much appreciate your variety of models, race, age, varied figures... & the few showing a smile & enthusiasm for their gown & it's day... thank you so much for keepin' it real..

    It was nice to see a plus sized model. Loved some of these beautiful gowns, but why do some of these models look so ticked off or empty looking? I thought being a wedding event you would at least look happy? I'll never understand the run way? 😆

      The point of a fashion show is to show the fashions, not the models. A bland facial expression puts the attention on the clothing.

    I definitely loved the versatility and deversity of the models, both age and weight helped show more of what real brides are these days. Unfortunately the dresses looked like someone went through the closets of 80 years of brides, and included Thai bell and British leg o’ mutton sleeves, greecian night gowns, and front splits up to the hoo hah. And who taught wedding dress models to toss skirts, capes and veils like they were super hero capes? I loved some and hated some. I guess that is the mark of a great show- something for everyone. I did like the variety of sleeves, lace and fabrics. I thought there were too many bows, deep plunged necklines and high frontal splits. But not many were really bad. A very entertaining fashion show.

    I love looking at wedding dresses, and some of these were magical! Sparkly material that almost looks like liquid, sparkles, flowing lines. But, I can't imagine any bride wearing one apart from the glorious trouser suit worn by the older model. They look like they're about to kill someone.

    Por fin un gran desfile, con todo tipo de cuerpos, felicidades es grandioso, espero que así sigan, ésto nos ayuda a todos, a los clientes, a los vendedores, a los asesores de imagen, maquillistas, peinadores y obviamente a la industria de la moda, ya que nos pueden asesorar mejor cuando el vestido es el adecuado para nuestra tipo de cuerpo.
    Fantástico desfile 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
