This was a case of groundbreaking investigative reporting to get to the bottom of this scandal. Great work from Jessica Millward.
One of the most whimsical news stories ever.
I really wish our news here in the USA was as lighthearted and fun as yours :( love watching your news instead.
its mind-numbing morning tv. not 'news'
Yeah
70% of ALL australian media is owned by rupert murdoch and newscorp
Imagine if an American watched strayan news for the first time and this came up
As an American, I absolutely love this show and all the clips. I wish American news shows were like this.
Danny H i wish that australian media wasnt under a monopoly where 70% is owned by murdoch
I feel like I am becoming strayan watching these.
When there’s no crime in Australia
Lmfao
There's plenty of crime in america and people are still complaining about nothing. Don't underestimate the power of the sheltered life.
This gang makes any story worthwhile.
Now here is some genuine news
I do love watching their morning shows cuz they're funny
The ol' sausage slip 😅😂😆
Well done mate!
Yeah mate
2:41 You're on, mate! Good on yer ;)
I live here an I’m not even sure Australia is a real country.
I like how the reporter said to Karl savagely, “don’t ask Karl.”
I love these guys
Onions are well known to be good for reducing blood pressure, but the sheer stress of the possibility of being injured by said onion is a cruel twist... Oh the irony...😫
Is the onion slippery, or only when wet from the sauce?
what about when its raining people slip everywhere. Do we ban rain ?
And to think the location of the onion was our biggest lifestyle hit
This is how you do a slow news day
Hahahaha Tim Gilbert from down town hahha
I slipped on a cooked onion at Bunnings once and hit a superhero landing pose......upside down. Thank you Bunnings
Lanz22
Outstanding! Try to do it again!😂
this made my day lol
Dayum, I wish we had you guys in the U.S.!
"I love the onion."
I thought this was The Onion.
In America Newscasters have to inhale sausage as a requirement.
So yummy
There should be a cordoned off "sausage zone" also be provided with safety goggles and a harness to hold you..how many sausage sanger related deaths/injuries before we learn
Wotmidoin will you shut up
I can't stop laughing hahahaha
From the US ..... ROFLMAO 🤣
I can't help but notice that Tim Gilbert is like an Australian Andy Richter 🤣
I've actually briefly met him as a courier many years ago. He's not a huge star but as a rugby league fan at the time and him being a sports journalist I couldn't even make eye contact with him as I passed. He actually went out of his way to say hello to me. Cool guy
Americans slip on banana peels, aussies on onions. What a world
We need bunnings sausage here in the states
Yes you do! 🇦🇺
The rubber bread ))
LOL...what a hoot.
2:41 goes to fall over
How can they even sell them altogether? What if you drop the whole kit and caboodle? Soon we will be banning sausage sizzles.
I wanna party with these people!!
Nothing but net🤣🤣🤣
This is real life Anchorman, I want to move back to Australia.
I slipped on onion once, no joking matter
Yeah tell me about it. I was actually airlifted out because of my stupidity of slipping on one. These sort of laws after all, are meant to protect us
Joke on u. Dumb fart!
Antonio Scarpelli Will you shut up
@@jlcmiles Those laws are only meant protect those who don’t take responsibility for their own safety, at the expense of everyone else.
GEORGIE is so crazy and very serious her face ......she is supposed to be stand up comedian for sure......her face enough to make me laugh for days .....
Too funny
So many gorgeous ladies in Australia
Where the hell are the buns at bunnings? These folks are having sausage on a bread slice 😁
I miss Bunnings sausage sandwiches
Fully agree, I think aussies realised the coronavirus was a real threat when bunnings shut down the snag tents. I do miss the alluring smell they put out every weekend too.
Where’s the HP brown sauce ?
None of that
HP brown sauce?! maaaate go back to England with all the other pansies ;) This here is Straya! learn to love the snag options or prepare for deportation!
When I see Sylvia I click.. who agrees?
just as cartoony as american news but at least in straya you guys are fun
Mate
Also how much does Bunnings Warehouse Pay for these product Placement stories?
Does it make the sausage better
To all Americans, ITS NOT A HOTDOG! Its a sausage sizzle. No hotdog buns. That is UNAUSTRALIAN.
Calm down mate...with all due respect , a sandwich roll (see ? I didn't say the H word ) holds together better than a slice of bread . But I get it ...it's a culture thing . Enjoy em however you like em. Cheers
@@ifitsfreeitsforme1852 it's not supposed to hold together, it's supposed to be an act of skill & delicacy to enjoy a sausage sandwich with the correct meat:bread ratio. A bun would just throw that off. Way too much crust, way too much bread.
@@InnuendoXP Thanks for the explanation ..like I said, it's a culture thing and I respect that.
I hope to visit Oz someday and enjoy their cuisine firsthand .
Cheers
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Toast the bread please
Where is the buns?
im just curious why australians don't use sausage/hot dog buns instead of slices of bread?
Because it wouldn't be a sanga then would it?
Queenslander here and yes I am a onion hater lol
Don't they have hot dog buns over there I've never really seen it with bread unless you don't have buns
ITS NOT A HOT DOG!!! ITS A SAUSAGE SIZZLE!!!
Yeah but hot dog buns come in like packs of 6. A sausage sizzle is good because you buy a loaf of bread and you can make alot of them. Best for BBQs or group gatherings.
It's not that it will change the taste to the flavours as they hit your tongue at different times.
Where's the hotdog bun! I never seen it severed on a piece of bread like that?
LibratheGod the real crime
damn you people its not a hot dog. SAUSAGE SIZZLE!!
YOU DON'T USE THEM! That's sacrilege!
Hot Chicks speakin' Aussie just gives me a Woody .. WHY DID I NOT FUCKIN' MOVE TO AUSTRALIA! ..
next toilet paper should the roll be up or on the bottom?
Jess Millwood has some odd facial expressions 0:24, 1:18, 2:51, prolly too much glare. No pretty overly made up studio face for her. She's being a normal human being, one that MUST date meeeee💕
The table was too short for her & the sanga needed to be on a serviette or something
You don't put onions beneath the sausages anymore than you do put the beans above the frank.......
Do you guys not have hot dog/sausage rolls down under? Try New England style!
They're not hot dogs.
@@pauljarvis446 I said hot dog/sausage rolls, lol.
@@bmbunch8825 we have them, but those aren't hot dogs.
@@pauljarvis446 Hotdogs are a type of sausage, lol.
The rolls are just slightly different than what we use for normal sausage.
Why oh why are you eating sausage and onions on what looks like Wonder Bread and Jam?
Jam??? No jam! 🍅 (tomato sauce). You gotta try! They are yummo!!
You can tell they're all making the best of knowing what a joke their job is
I’m guessing that Bunnings is like Costco.
They are massive home improvement/ hardware/gardening stores.
They sell a bit of everything
We just have to re-educate people on how to eat properly!
Aussies spring for a hot dog bun?!
Hotdog bun??
How about Bunnings make it maditory for the BBQ stand to buy local made sausages from local butchers instead of the Woolworths made crap .
Support the little guy , isn't that what the sausage sizzle stand is all about
Yes!
Most of the time the snag tents are given deals or donations from their local butchers/bakers so they they can make more money for their organizations. I know a couple of friends who have been involved.
Who eats a great sausage with a slice of white bread?!?
Just watch where you're walking.
Why are they not using hotdog buns?
Because they're not hotdogs.
when we choose not to be offended by everything.
Im in Chicago...why the hell do you guys just put it on white bread? And what kind of sausage is that? I saw people using mustard, ketchup, and/or BBQ sauce...what the hell kind of sausage is that?
Its not a hot dog!!! Sausage sizzle is different! Hot dog buns are unaustralian!!!!!
Beef sausage on white bread with sauce & fried onion. It's called a Sausage Sizzle.
Out the front of Bunnings Hardware on a Saturday morning - the smell is divine!
The taste even better! 🙌
It’s free of cost from Aussie culture side.
I can’t control my laugh, while she lick her finger underneath onion flavour, good or bad she knew that no idea.
I haven't wached this show sins lisa left i just got reminded why.
they are clearly joking
@@MrPieman00 what you sed makes no sense.
What a load of meatballs.
nothing wrong with a slippery sausage
only the true scam of humanity walk around bunnings while eating .
All double meaning jokes
I like my sausage in a bun, not a slice of bread.
@@nimpbl3494 looks like a bratwurst to me.
Perhaps try it first! They are delicious! 🇦🇺 And no bratwurst.
Whoever is making these laws out things are no big deal, will you shut up
All sizzle and no saussage
They should wrap the sausage in bacon....
Watch where you walk (common sense), end of story.
Lol It's impossible spot a cooked onion on the floor
Don't they give serviettes to put under them, anymore?
what .. are u kidding ..hilarious...sandwich?
Good on him to much talk8ng not enough eating .
is it just me or this is a weird show? 0,0
Looks like someone's junk 😨
Industrialised country problem. Meanwhile, in the 3rd world....
Why in the world don’t they use hoagie rolls ? Hello this would solve the problem ? Who in the hell uses cheap bread like this for sausages ? Hello invite me to Australia . I B would fixes many culinary issues and dilemmas
Nope!! You don't need to fix our sausage sizzles, but thank you anyway! 🇦🇺
Sounds like you just started another liberal/progressive "issue" . A bun would solve the problem instead of using bread.
Nah mate
youre not aussie are you?
@@damaito1829 No. In Western New York State.
Dan M this is aussie bunnings tradition. Bread must be used.
@@damaito1829 OK.
This is so petty and stupid
This was a directive from a new WOMAN executive in Bunnings trying to make her mark,, and also prove that EQUALITY OUTCOMES dont. BTW, the poor old KARL got the axe for sharing his sausage with an extra onion.
