I tend to think back...People hear Thinking out Loud...and blows everyone away...then they hear Shape of you. Blow's their mind. And away Ed goes in to legend. But I always come back to this one...Lego House was when I took notice (And A-Team of course) and specifically this recording. This is just too good.

watched this guy four days ago!!! believe me when i say this: as much as how beautiful ed's recording voice is, it doesn't give his live singing voice any justice. ed's voice live is 1000x better than his recording voice. seriously his concert was so magical and when he looked at me for a second?! WOW
Concerts will always better records. It is because throughout the recording process, voices are filtered n toned down. That's why we don't feel so "excited " when listening to records.

2020. still got this on repeat. i met Ed, right before he blew up. signed my guitar, i spent the next three years, just about in the hospital battling a disease that was killing me....and i have to say, that moment helped me get through it. this dude is my biggest inspiration, felt like talkin to a bro when i sat down with him. unbelievably humble and just so fucking kind. i really hope the best for him whatever he does, he provided me with music for a lifetime and a moment ill never forget. love you man. i tell the story to this day how it all went down. fucking unreal.
