My Hw is asking to chose an (beta a) level and alternative hypothesis, and indicate for each model in (a) and (b) whether you accept to reject the null hypothesis? Don't know what to do and I'm frustrated

Hi Charlene! Thank you for a simple explanation!
However, I've got a question: how do you know, the assumptions were not violated? Does it appear somewhere, or do we need to write a separate code for normality and variance homogeneity tests?
