For me, the most insulting part is the 1 million silver, as if that's enough to upgrade even one good piece to lvl 16.
Plarium notoriously overvalues silver. Most CC's basically value silver at $0 in terms of paying money for it, but Plarium often uses it to try and justify the prices of certain packs.
Idk why Raid is so stingy with silver. You could multiply the silver they give for rewards by 10x and it would still be barely enough to upgrade 5 pieces of gear to 16 (if you're lucky)
I mean its a garbage deal for sure. Could have potential for early game spenders that cannot farm hard 10 dungeons but have money to spare and don’t care but price/loot in this case is unbelievable and absolutely not justifiable. Loot should be 6 star without rares, really hope nobody is so desperate and buys that.

We are bombarded with dog crap, so when we see something that isn't as terrible we'll see that it's relatively better and forget to measure it in realistic terms of value.
It's easy to make something seem like good value if you're fed dog crap constantly... and that's how they happily fool people.

At least dungeon runs that use energy from an energy pack apply towards events and tournaments. These new packs don't even do that.
I'd like to take a second to point out that the severs being down happened at the tail end of the Fire Knight tournament that was a part of the fusion. Because of this issue I (and probably many other people) was not able to get the Epic fragments. As a midgame player I was excited to try and complete this fusion as I FINALLY had the resources and the champion would fit well in my teams. I am extremely disappointed and the "apology" rewards do nothing to fix this issue. I feel like Raid continually has things like this happen and the community is tired of it.
You mean after the 15 maintenance sessions the day the fusion started they had a bug 2 days later? 😂 Glad I decided to pass on this fusion.

Pretty sure those are the exact rank/rarity drop rates for a level 10 hard dungeon, so this pack is essentially 40 instant battles (800 energy). There is an energy pack in the shop right now for the exact same price that gives 9040 energy. I don't understand how people at plarium think this gear chest pack is a good idea.
not everybody can run 10 hard, or 25 norm or 20 norm
and anybody who can has clearly played this game for a year+ (or is a whale/kraken) and won't buy this pack (well norm 20 might not take 1 year)
if you started a brand new account, maybe you'd want it, obviously forge pass would be the go to though

My guess is that Plarium doesn't want to wreck its own in-game economy by allowing people to just buy Mythic-level artifacts. But changing the chests so that they contain ONLY 6-star Epics, Legendaries, and Mythics is the only way anyone should be spending money on these things.

I ran the math on the value of this offer. Buying an energy pack gave me 11,3 times better value for the money. Absolutely unbelievable. Plarium needs to get a grip!
Don't know if it's the same for everyone but my artifact chest deal is £20 still not going for it cuz i rather get gems or energy or summon pools that have the stuff i need for the giant enemy spider mythical

I've bought 2 armor sets, one of them being a mythical curse set because I needed it and the other being a legendary regeneration set, also because I felt I needed it and it has served me well. But yeah I don't usually buy armor sets
When you buy those sets do they come random? Like, you have no control over what the main stats will be? I have never paid for artifacts because I'm scared, I will get crap main and sub stats

I pulled a random ancient today because I was close to mercy I wanted to get a Pythion. I saw gold, but no Pythion for me. It was a Kantra the Cyklone. Is she somewhat useful for a late-game player?
The $10 Gem offer is the best deal at the shop. Forge Pass can be worth the $20 if it has good artifact materials.

Remember when Plarium used to offer a Sacred shard (1) per 30 days login and replaced it with Primal? Yet ppl insist on spending money in this game.

They have always been savage with their deals. When you break them down, the over all price per item is up, you end up paying huge $ for coins, and the price increases when you buy. They are very aware of what theyre doing.
Thanks for sticking up for the newbie Ash. ONCE AGAIN Plarium show its contempt for their virgin player base -- banking on luck. Plarium is a "get while the gettin' is good" taker - giving shitty odds. I understand this is a business out to make $$$, but come on Plarium...create a "loyal" fan base by enticing them with valid and valuable rewards equals to $$$ spent. Proof in the pudding that not spending $$$ in-game is a good decision.

It might have been fine if there were no rares, the mythical was about 10%, and the 5-star and 6-star chances reversed. Also, had they added Protection, Stoneskin, Merciless, Supersonic, and Slayer sets to the mix.
It’s essentially just instant battles for krakens but I don’t think they realise Krakens are past almost all of those gear sets

The only way I would ever buy one, is if the rates were better and you could select which set the artifacts were from.
I think most special offers are plain horrible for anyone who compares ingame prices with things you get for the money irl. But when this popped up for me, it did make me chuckle. :D

This is a rare miss for you Ash. Yes, for those of you already at end game who have already dropped copious amounts of money to get the strong gear, this may not seem worth it to you, however, perhaps this offer is not intended for end game players or the whales. I've got a couple of accounts. One of them I can't score decent gear anywhere. I'm stuck with Rathalos, Chronicler, Sun Wu, Khatun, Deacon Armstrong that I can't get powered up enough to get past level 10 or 12 in dungeons. All of these artifacts just pulled, even the flat stats would be enough to give me that push. I don't have the money that I can just drop $200 in a half a second for literally nothing but dropping $40 for some artifacts to help my move past my level tens is doable. Just because you can afford all the fancy 6 star legendary artifacts, don't forget that there are people struggling beginning/ mid game and this offer could be what they need to progress. ..
The only accounts I can see benefiting from this travesty are brand new accounts that can't run those dungeon stages yet. This is a rapid way to get 5+ star gear.
Spending money and getting 5 star artifacts is absolutely ridiculous lmao. The absolute GALL of Plarium to offer to sell my loot boxes with 5 star artifacts. I haven’t kept a five star artifact in years lol.
When did you hit that "yup no more five stars for this account" point? My account is nearly level 100 and I'm breaking into hard dungeons for some others I farm max regularly like hard 10 spider and hard 10 dragon, I can do hard 7 FK haven't bothered to put a hard ice golem team together tho.
I imagine I may be at that "screw five stars forever" point too but I kept some pieces that say triple rolled speed

You're right, Ash. If they are going after people with disposable income that are willing to spend money on games, they are going exactly the opposite direction of anything that might entice me.
Random chance at set, stats, stars, AND rarity? Hard pass. I'll go a step further: I will never buy gear with random stats. Ever. And I'm the sort of person who can and will buy things if they feel like a good deal.
