Tell that to an elderly person who sleeps well each night or whose joint pain is eased due a small dose of CBD/THC each day, tell that to the parents of an epileptic child who stops having 30 seizures per day.....etc etc. If 999 people out of 1000 use a med card for recreational use to avoid jail and there is one person with a medical condition that is alleviated with cannabis, then that is a good thing.
but you did get right about medical cannabis being the necessary step towards full legalization.

I already got my medical card months ago...saw this coming long ago.
People in nepal told me everyone used to go to nepal to smoke weed but now they lost alot of tourism because everyone go to thailand now to smoke weed . Guess that trend will be ending soon . 😂
Very simple Newin own half of the parlement and he is for marijuana to be legal. So, it's not going anywhere.
Looks like they'll shut down some of the small shops and make the remaining shops "dispensaries".
I think they'll make it easy for tourists to become medical users, maybe a couple of hundred baht for a card.

Mostly Thai people's not agreed with Thai Governments...free cannabis law.
The genie is out of the bottle. So many Thai people have been lifted out of poverty because of legalisation. Tourism has gone up a lot since legalisation. Weed is good. Keep it legal for God's sake.
They already had the medical system.. they just made it really difficult for 2 years and then went full legal. The govt just needs to do their job which they don’t do ever

About the bath bus incident: to me it looks like the guy was alone in there and the bus driving fast. To me it menas he payed extra to get him straight to the destination.
In that case the driver will not look around and drive fast anyway. Being chinese and probably a "light weight", i can imagine that a small bump on the road made him jump a bit especially because he was standing and the driver had no indication that something happened. I would not exclude alcohol or drugs abuse by the guy as well.
For one time, i don't really see the thai people doing something wrong especially if he was all alone and decided to not to sit.
