You took me back whe I was on the shovel 2,000+ ft below ground. Where we was on the top of a 60ft vertical bunker that we stored coal in before it was fed onto the main drift belts up a 1,000ft drift, it had a false diamond plate floor. Because of this we could only use shovels to remove all the muck (rock) in a 14×20ft square work junction. We had to go inbye for 20 mtrs before we could eventually bring in a mk 2A Dosco in sections before building it. I'd only be 22yrs old then, but it was work like that that gave me hands like shovels! As a kid my dad told me they no longer used picks and shovels down the pit. I wanted to beat him around the head with an elephant tab (coal shovel)every time I saw him whilst I was on that job( 1s loader gate scour- Deep Soft) .😁👍
Lads iv stll not forgot the pit helmet ii promised you also got some other things and photos download of me and my team down pit. Also some photos of the explosion when the inspectors went dowd just had a few things on then geet a f_ _ kin chest infection be in touch soon keep the videos coming lads. They were horrible wood hornets they used to head for your cap lamp everyone was running about in pitchblack falling all over everthing one man ran into a RSJ and ended with 10 stiches in his shin i dont know what was worse having stitches r see the nurse in the first aid room see u soon lads ⛏️⛏️⛏️👍
The dreaded cave spider with egg sacs too. 200- 300 spiderlings in each sac. I have to tell my mate not to look too. If you dont look you dunt find any. Great find is this lads🤪
Great video lads, i have a fear of spider also, you wouldn't believe how many times a spider runs across you're face when you are asleep, just think if you goto sleep with youre gob open, look it up about spiders and when you goto to sleep, it's a shame the tunnel was only short, but its ok you've shown us something that we would never had seen, great job lads, and dont forget it is spider time now where spiders do come into youre home,
