    I have been selling this for over 3 years, and I've been using the same displays. I love them. Over time, they've been perfected, and this is the most current and useful video.

    4 pieces of pegboard measuring 24" x 32" each (you can get 6 identical pieces this size cut from a large 4' x 8' sheet at a hardware store) ($12)
    Paint --Use something you already have or buy "oops" paint ($free) I rolled on wall paint with primer in it. I heard spray paint was messy, and you'll have to do that outside.
    4 Pipe and Drape hooks (or 8 of these instead of #4)
    4 S-hooks (I bought mine at Wal-Mart -- the pkg says HI-77, QTY 4, #6(.192) guage x 1-3/4") ($2)
    Wardrobe rack (2-tiered from Walmart - Mainstays brand) ($15)

    I make handmade jewelry and was stumped as to how to display it for sale at shows. Your video was SO helpful. I found all the pieces (slightly higher prices since your video was done over four years ago), did exactly what you did and it all works perfectly. Thank you so much for all the information. It makes a very attractive display.

    I did my first 1/2 booth at my tribes Pow Wow last weekend and I had no display so I just put my items on the table that was provided. The tables on each side of me had tray displays and some standing displays, their items were very nicely presented. People actually just past me up like I was not even there. So of course it felt like a big waist of money and time for me. I really didn't know if I would ever do another show until I found your video. Thank you very much for inspiring me to continue with my passion of making and selling jewelry. Also thank you for sharing your time and talent.

    I do not sell Paparazzi. I create almost all my jewelry but I still need pegboard for components in my studio. Pegboard is definitely affordable and readily available. During the pandemic I wanted to utilize the free time to create items without leaving home. I had leftover wood paneling in my garage. I measured and marked holes for holes and drilled 6 sheets at a time. I cut the sheets to my preferred size, added a 2" strip along the edges (glued in-place with TiteBond2) and painted everything. Works great, fed my creative hunger and solved a need for very little to no investment.

    Maybe instead of the drape and rod hooks, use shower curtain hooks? Keep them continually attached to the board and then all you have to do is attach to the rod.

    • @LisaAbercrombie
      @LisaAbercrombie  Před 6 lety

      Truthification Chronicles you're totally right. Shower curtain hooks work great. But there are too many varieties out there and some are too wide for the holes to fit in and some are too hard to open and close. But if you wanted to take the bar with you to the store you could probably find some that fit great :-)
