The soup at 9:00 is called Kadi in our local language. It is compulsory dish at Aftari during Ramadan.

We also have a similar dish like your soup, we call it Aash. It is Afghan-Pashtun dish. Also in Iran, Tajikistan and may be in central Asian states too. By the way I am a Pakistani Pashtun of Afghan origin.
