- Twenty-five years ago this week, kids were finalizing their holiday wish lists, which probably included a Nintendo home gaming system or the company's brand new handheld device, the Game Boy.
Fred Savage is so polished it's insane.

He does sound grounded and mature and I'm sure he was. I did here from the guy playing Jimmy (in an interview) that he sometimes was a bit difficult.

Wow this is a great behind the scenes footage of this movie, I still have the original game boy that had a black and white screen that first came out in 1989, I got it for Christmas that year, still the best Christmas gift I have ever received.

This kid was a natural-born actor. He was meant to do it. So much fun growing up with his work.
Fred savage is big with his sitcom, the wonder years and his brother ben savage is big with his sitcom, boy meets world.
Fred’s character in this is treated by his younger brother’s mother and stepfather no differently than Rambo was in the first movie. This would’ve been a good movie if it was more like say The Karate Kid in game dueling while trying to win the money to keep their home.

A new version came out just today on blu-ray sourced from a new 4k scan from the original film.. very good picture quality
